No more excuses! Back again for 2015

When I did my silly sneaky peak last week I hadn't put my contacts in yet so I had my glasses on and they are heavy! I got on wearing them and the got off again. Then I decided to take them off and get in again. Only trouble I had was, I couldn't read the scales!!! x

Haha! I would have weighed the glasses on my kitchen scales to check! :D
 
:D Where would you even buy ribbons for your hair nowadays? I had to laugh, hubby got home just in time to watch eggheads tonight! :D I am fine now, I just need to stop expecting big numbers each week, as you say half a pound or a pound off is still a loss and as long as it goes in that direction then I will be fine. I think it was because I was so sure that I would be under 11 stone this time but it is within reach now! Happily "frylighting" some mushrooms for lunch today. Couldn't be bothered to get stirrer from drawer so tossed the pan like they do on the telly.

Half the contents lept from the pan and sailed past my right ear and landed on the floor behind me :doh:

Remind me not to try that again! :D

Haha brilliant - that sounds like me attempting to flip pancakes. The bad news is, you'd better cook some more superfree as you've lost half of it!! ;)

The good thing was I had done loads! I find it impossible to cook single portions. Probably something to do with cooking for a pub a few years ago ;)

Body Magic 1.5 miles earlier and 2.5 miles this evening with my walking buddies (We had 4 tonight!)

Friday 10th January

Healthy Extras

a 40g Reduced fat Cheddar
b 2 Alpen Light Cereal Bars

Breakfast: 2 x Bananas on the run (Got up early and then faffed around for ages, suddenly it was time to go to work!)
Lunch: Salad with Boiled new potatoes, boiled egg, a little ham and my hexa cheese
Dinner: Iceland Lamb Shank in Minted Gravy with mashed Potato & Swede, brocolli, carrots and green beans (Loads of superfree! Didn't realise swede was one too)

I am still very confused about the syns for the lamb shanks, these ones are Iceland Posh Grub Frozen which are not listed on the syns list, the only ones on their list are either chilled which are free or the Extra large ones which are 4.5 syns. The nutrition and ingredients look about the same. Tescos version is 1.5 syns so I am going to put down 2 syns and hope for the best. I always have some syns left so I don't know why I am that worried! :D
EDIT.. It was swimming in gravy! only ate the lamb so I reckon 2 was enough :)

Saturday 11th January

Well the sun was shining this morning and I wanted to go for a walk so I arranged to meet up with my friends to do a 4.5 mile walk around Virginia Water lake, then arranged to collect another friends dog (she has puppies to look after so couldn't leave them, but Mummy dog needed some exercise) and away we went! What a beautiful day, there were so many people out, We nattered all the way around the lake and before we knew it we had walked all the way round! :cool:

We are out tonight to a friends house for a takeway curry, I have decided that I am not going to waste syns on alcohol, it really doesn't seem to be agreeing with me lately, and to use so many syns on a little glass of wine means I may as well not have any and save my syns for other stuff! :)

I am allowing myself a flexi day today if need be, We usually order far too many dishes when we order takeaways so I may have to help out with the side dishes ;)

Great night last night and I only added 2 more syns for an after eight mint :)

I discovered syn free ginger beer too. It made a nice non alcoholic alternative.

Now for the good news... We are all going on holiday together this year. That's three couples, all great fun as we get on well together. One friend works for an airline so the flights will be cheap too.. Yay! :)

Bad news.......It's in 6 weeks time! Not long enough to get beach confident and the 2 other wives are size 6 and size 8 and I feel huge next to them :(

I know its how I feel about myself and not how my friends see me but it still doesn't stop me obsessing about it.

I just know there will be loads of eating and drinking so I will probably put most of my weight back on...then won't be nice and slinky for Easter when me and hubby go away for a week to Corfu...

Oh well. I am not going to turn my nose up at a holiday and I will just have to be as careful as I can with the menus, Get in some long walks and hope for the best.

I should remember that I will still be lighter than I was on last year's holiday! :)
 
6 weeks could be a stone though, just take little steps don't put too much pressure on yourself to lose loads by your holiday, I always do and it gets me nowhere. Just think half at a time. Well done on not over doing the syns on curry night!!

Yeah true. I do seem to have slowed on the losses so will try to make some changes. I am more worried that letting go on holiday will make me give up. I may just have to log in here every day to keep me grounded! :D

If I can be a stone less than my last holiday that would be good and that's more than doable :)
