No more excuses! Back again for 2015

Wednesday 26th February - Extra Easy Day

Started the day thinking I would make something different for breakfast to try and mix things up a bit! As you can see from what I had, I didn't manage it. All I did manage to do was to wreck the kitchen :D
I had decided to clean out the vegetable drawer in the fridge ready for my brother who is staying at my house while I am away. I threw a few things out and thought I would use up some of the other bits, I got all "cheffy" and chopped onions, peppers, thinly sliced a potato and chopped a tomato and added these to their own little bowls just like the TV chefs do (well someone probably does it for them) Then I cooked the potato a little before adding the other veggies and fried them in frylight until they were nice and soft, then I whisked 2 eggs added 30g grated cheese and added a couple of spoonfuls of quark, added this to the pan and realised that the quark was one step too far - it looked horrible and wouldn't "set" so that went in the bin and I made my usual fruit and muller :D
I cleaned up after that fiasco then made some weetabix muffins, I added some vanilla essence and a little cinnamon but I also added a few chopped blueberries, it wasn't even 25g so I have added 1 syn (3 syns for 100g cooked) They turned out pretty good actually! Cleaned up again then decided to make the pepperpot stew! I had to go out after that so I left the kitchen in a right mess! :doh: It's clean again now though :)

They are really nice, quite thick. Soak hexb oats in ML yog of choice overnight in fridge . Beat in 2 eggs and cook in fry light. I make 3 saucer sized pancakes and they are quite thick. I have with fruit with sweetener sprinkled over. Some people put the sweetener in the mixture but I sprinkle a bit after instead. I used vanilla ML with choc sprinkles.
 
Thursday 27th February - Extra Easy Day

How can you be busy all day and not get anything done? .................................................................I am really good at it anyway :D

I did manage to do my Dad's shopping and have a cappuccino with him this afternoon so that was good :)

Yeah! I have a couple of hours work tomorrow morning then I consider myself to be on holiday! :)

Had some good news earlier too, I had renewed my online membership a while ago but decided that after the holiday I would be ready to join a group for the first time, I am going to one that a friend goes to which will help me get through the door :D Anyway I emailed SW to let them know and they are going to give me vouchers to join and cover 6 weeks of group! I thought that was pretty good as I just assumed I would just have to pay again.

Hehe.... I have always said that I was short for my weight, just saw this on facebook :)

You will have a bit more holiday spending money! It's great that that they are sending vouchers, at least they know you are still going to continue spending money with them and want to keep you happy, as they should. Hope you enjoy the pancakes this morning. When do you actually go?

That's really good of them, I didn't know that they'd do that! I'm impressed!!

I leave on Saturday but I am packed and the house is pretty tidy for my brother who is staying to look after my cat and fix our fences that got ruined in the storms.

We tend to go into holiday mode as soon as work is finished and I only have to do a couple of hours today :)

We are all getting together at the pub tonight to officially start the hols. I wonder how many of us will be wearing big ugly pants because we've packed all the good ones! :D
 
Lindsey those magic pancakes are lovely!! I will deffo be making more of those when I get back :)

I ended up doing more than a couple of hours work today and really haven't eaten much since my pancakes, I haven't planned a meal for tonight as we are going out and it's getting a bit late so I am going to call today a Red day as I am having a sandwich! Not that it matters really, I will be breaking my diet again in a little while down the pub! :D
