Total Solution No more yo yo-ing!

Seriously this season it's so difficult to stay on track. I'm hoping to get the last bit of weight off. I think maintaining / losing requires more motivation in this season but just means we can feel all the more proud for doing it!! How many miles per week are you running now a days?

Oh Lara I'm lucky if I can get one 5k in a week lol! But I start training for the half after xmas so any extra pounds will soon drop off! I'm trying to do the 30 day shred too but I'm not doing it while I'm ill. Sounds like you're doing great! :)

I have just read your post about your half training starting after Christmas....I started mine this week! I want to be ready by end of March...just to keep me focused over the winter months

When's your half marathon shrimp? I have a 12 week training programme so working back from the run means I start after xmas thank god. It's quite nice to allow myself some time off training as I've been in training for races since easter

10 stone and 0.4 of a pound this morning (still counting weds as weigh in day) so I'm still maintaining and managed to shed the couple of pounds that crept back on! Yey! :)

Well done.x

Feeling bleurgh again. I've only put on a few pounds but I can really feel them, not done any exercise for over a week as well. Planning to get up early and do my 30 day shred video. Not sure whether to start again or carry on from where I left off. I'll see how I feel.

Park run on Saturday. I start my half marathon training after xmas so that will be full on training for 3 months so I'm not too worried about having a little break now.

I'm loving the build up to xmas though! Feeling all festive! I've had lots of opportunities to socialise and I finish work on Friday lunchtime! Woop! :)

Sorry I've not posted on here much. It's so true, when you're maintaining (although I would like to lose more eventually) you don't focus on it so much.

I agree with that statement that once maintaining you lose your focus. I found that once I reached goal I was so pleased with myself I did not focus and the weight started creeping back on. I think that is why people go up and down, sometimes by a lot. I halted myself at 7 lbs over goal but I am really struggling to get back to goal now, was much easier first time round. My problem at the moment is getting back to exercise. My heart rate monitor broke then I got shingles and now although I am still going to the gym it is once a week instead of 5 times a week!
I think exercise is probably the key to weight loss.

Hello YoYo. How are you?

Hi Lynne!! So good to hear from you :) I'm ok thanks enjoying xmas but indulging far too much!! I'll weigh tomorrow to see the damage but my jeans feel tighter around my legs!

Never mind - my half marathon training starts on Monday so any gain will soon drop off

How's things with you? X

10 stone 4.7 this morning!! Eek!! Between 3 and 5 pounds on over xmas!

I'm sure I'll get rid of it once I start running 4 times a week from tomorrow
