Big, busty and Blowsy!
This recipe is from when I did sw years ago, but is lush!
The whole cake is 5 syns plus one hex b, or 24u as they used to be called! Or use 5floz of your hex a milk allowance to make it syn free!
2oz wholemeal bread, crumbed (hex b)
5fl oz warm water
2 eggs, seperated
1oz marvel (5 syns)
4 tsp strong coffee
8oz strawberries
4oz fat free from frais
sweetner to taste
put bread, water, marvel, egg yolks, 2 tsp coffee, and small amount sweetner in a bowl and beat well.
Taste and add more sweetner if needed.
Whip egg whites until stiff and fold gently into mix.
pour into a 6 inch cake tin ready sprayed with frylight, and cook for 25-30 mins at 190c
Cool completely.
Mix the last 2 tsp of coffee into the from frais, sweeten to taste and spread over the cake.
Thinly slice the strawberries and place artistically on cake.
Any fruit can be used.
Substitute 5fl oz water and marvel for 5floz of your hex a milk allowance to make this cake syn free!
Also due to different strenghs of coffee a bit more may be needed
