The last time I visited my family who live 3 hrs away, we had a party and I cooked all the food for my family which included chips, a mexican banquet and fresh cream cakes and all other goodies for afters!

    I had my chicken soup!

But it did not bother me as I thought about my goal which was more important, and now I'm 3lbs off my goal and I'm so glad I had the will power to say no to all that lovely food.

My family could not believe I just had a chicken soup!

It's hard but just think it will be worth it when you've slimmed down.

Hun you can do it! When they are all eating the food you steal a few mins with your son and his pressies. Enjoy him instead of the food! Be strong! It will be worth it.

I'm sure you'll be fine. I has to sit through my mother and sister in law eating chinese takeaway on mothers day. I LOVE CHINESE FOOD.mmmm. I was soooo happy with myself that i sat there and drank my shake and couldnt believe I ahd the willpower to decline it even tho they kept offering. Just think of all the lovely food you will be able to enjoy in moderation once youve finished youre LT journey.x

Just think of all the extra things you can do with your little boy once you have lost your weight, just think only 17lbs to go, and if necessary put a clothes peg on your nose - should raise a laugh with the kids!!

Be strong and enjoy the party hun, you can do it.
