NSVs - Non Scale Victories

I've just realised that I did my watch up today on a tighter hole and now I've looked I've just realised that if I want it any tighter I'm going to have to make my own holes. Lol!

When I got out of the shower this morning and wrapped the towel around me I noticed how much further it goes than it used to!
Also I filled a charity bag full of clothes that are now way too big for me.

Great NSVs again everyone :happy096:..... I do LOVE this thread, it is so motivational

My latest ones are :-

Its our 9th wedding anniversary on Thursday and we are off out for a meal and I have outfits to choose from :bliss:... I have narrowed it down to:-
  1. Long black formally looking dress with bronze beading
  2. long BRIGHT pink floral dress with beading
  3. and the same dress in Turqouise/blue
So far I think the blue one is winning as its still summery here plus I can wear it with sandals ;) oooh and the dresses are all 16s :D
I have been "gifted" this dress *brand new with tags* and €180 :faint2:
Monsoon Accessorize - Suzie Embroidered Dress - Polyvore
Now its soooo not like anything I have even dreamt of wearing and sooo not a style I would have looked at -but hey ho I will give it a whirl :p now its a 14 and boy It ain't a generous one ,,, but I tried it on and amazingly it fits over my fatta podge but the zip is a good 6" apart -so I now have that as my "long term goal" dress (and if I don't like it I can always sell it to raise funds for my charity trek ;))

Finally for now -after getting into the pool twice last week, hubby insisted that we go and look for a cossie for me as Im wearing a tankini *in an attempt to cover as much as possible* -so off we tootled and I now own a proper cossie -I even tried it on in store and apart from my lower stomach I don't look to shabby at all :giggle: -No Cindy Crawford but OK to be seen in public *well a pool anyway* :p. It even has a lower back than I would normally go for but there is no "back fat" squidging over :happy036:
ooh and the last one for now -promise... After my achilies playing up for weeks we went to give badminton another go to see if my leg would hold up AND IT DID :woohoo: so we got 1hr40 in .so tomorrow we are off to get our own rackets :D
Keep up the great work everyone!!!

My latest nsv is my boyfriend had to put another hole in my belt over the weekend so that my jeans stay up. This was the same belt I couldn't actually do up at all before I started sw!

Well done everybody - some fab NSVs! :D

My NSV involves a very unhealthy habit  I've got to day 15 without smoking - woo! I had two nights out this weekend (one to see a band and one just to socialise) and I completely resisted :D Considering that everybody that I was out with were smokers I was very pleased with myself :D Not only did I resist, but I wasn't even bothered that everyone was trotting outside to smoke!

The second NSV involves the actual nights out - I had two nights out drinking only diet coke (bar one pint that was bought for me - they wouldn't take no for an answer!) Now I'm by no means an alcoholic, but I do enjoy a drink at the weekend, so that was a big NSV for me! :)

Ooo, I forgot my third NSV - I sorted out 4 big bags of clothes to go to the charity shop at the weekend - not one of them fits any more! This is on top of the 3 bags I sorted out at Christmas ;)

You'll have so much room in your wardrobe you won't know what to do with it! I know........buy some new clothes.!

Well done on not smoking and not drinking. Both of those are difficult separately, but together?? Woo hoo!!

Similar to me this weekend - I don't think I have ever had so few clothes. I am glad i work from home two days a week because I now only have 3 work outfits!

Mine could have been pretty sad really - as my wedding ring fell off last week in the middle of the street and narrowly missed going down a drain! Now safely put away in the safe until I am back in the UK to get it made smaller.
