hey blondee..

i grew up being blonde, and my hair went darker as i got older, but to be honest i have dyed my hair since i was 14 (am now 27) and i have always gone blonde, i uses wilkinsons hair dye, and few years ago i went dark underneath and kept the blonde on top (although now i am letting the dark growout)..

sometimes when i got the money and my hair is due i have it done at the salon, or oh does it for me...

seriously think about it first though, i couldnt imagine myself without being blonde

hey hun, thanks for the advice i would love to try dying it blonde myself again but i know from when i was younger because i have a very very slight red element to my hair in places it can come out orangey and that does my head in cos i'm very fussy about my hair lol hence the dilema cos i know if i dont like it it will do my head in! geez i wish i wasnt such a fussy cow

You are so lucky that you can dye your hair brown. I have jet black hair but i really really want to dye it a choclate brown colour but i know it will never show unless i lighten it first.

I think you should go for the brunete, i bet it would look gorjus. What colour eyes do you have?

awwww thanks sweetie! I have very light green eyes and pale skin and at first I was a bit worried that it might make me look washed out but I've been looking in the old celeb mags and stuff (such a classy lass!) and theres a few pale girls with dark hair who look stunning!

I'm sorry that it would mean lightening your hair to get the colour you want hun and I know this might not help cos we always want what we cant have but I've always thought jet black hair looks beautiful! It's often so glossy and looks so luxurious! I'm sure your hair is gorgeous

Hi, well i'm naturally blonde but used to get highlights so i was REALLY blonde, 6years ago i went very dark brown, almost black and have never gone back. As silly as this sounds it took me ages to get used to it and i felt really low for a few weeks, like my 'blonde identity' had gone. Everybody said they prefered me blonde but within weeks they all changed their minds and prefered me dark. Can't get pics on here yet but as soon as i can i will.
I know this doesn't really matter but i got much more male attention when i went dark and suddenly people commented on my blue eyes which i guess they never really noticed before.
Go for it i say...you can always go back to blonde, it will take hours in the salon and a lot of £££ but at least it's 'doable'!!

Hi again Blondee.

I have pale skin and green eyes and my own hair colour is dark auburn. I went brunette last year because I wanted to play about with wearing hair pieces and they are easier to match to dark brown hair.

I have the occassional pang as I have been a redhead for so long but I do think the dark brown goes well with my colouring so might well work for you.
