O/T - LUSH

OH my god!!!!
Heaven :D
What's the pink stuff next to Retread?

It's 'Yummy Yummy Yummy Shower Gel' :D Haven't tried it before, but it smells deeelish!

When i first walked in and saw the pink bottle i almost fainted cos i thought the xmas stuff had come out early and it was snow fairy!!! *am using up the dregs of my last bottle now!* LOL

DDIL keeps buying me stuff from there for Xmas! It's in the cupboard under the stairs  I can't say it does anything for me at all! I certainly couldn't work there, I got a cracking headache the only time I've been in!
I'm a Dove girl myself.

omg Judi... send it this way! :D (or failing that, send me your DDIL!!!) LOL :rotflmao:

to be fair, i can understand how people can dislike it as it's SUCH a strong smell as you walk past...

i think LUSH is one of things like marmite.. you either love it or hate it. it's definitely got a cult following :D

I used to be a HUGE Lush addict. I used to belong to their international forum and go to loads of forum parties in shops and stuff. Unfortunately, their ever increasing prices and my ever decreasing amount of spare cash has left me without much Lush. I do still love the products though and would recommend them to anyone.
I'm gonna ask for some Lush vouchers for Christmas so I can start building up my stash again I think ;)

i'm exactly the same cheekychinchilla... although i did something when we sold our last house which almost killed my OH off! :rotflmao:

i went and spent over £450 at lush!!! i was in absolute heaven... i think the SA's must've thought i led some rich jet-setting life, as they were runing around the shop after me and said if i wanted to do another big shop then i could phone them up in advance with a list and they'd have it all ready and waiting for me to collect

if only they'd known that it was the one and only time that i'd EVER had any decent amount of money in my bank, and probably the last time too! :rotflmao:

oh, that was such a good day though :D i wish i had more money now, as i'd be there every weekend building my stash :D

I pass Lush every week and like some of the others have said the smell makes me feel queezy. I'm not even a little bit tempted to go in there.

There was me thinking im the only one who cant stand the smell of it!! It really is like marmite!! lol!

Well I don't want to sound as if I have just come down from Mars or something - but, I have never heard of LUSH!!!!

Honestly I really have never heard of it or seen a shop anywhere, but then again I do live in Norfolk and the 21st Century hasn't caught up with us here yet.....I expect there is a shop in Norwich, but it's been ages since I went shopping there.

The product's do sound 'lush' though.....

£450!!! Did you buy one of everything?! hehe
I used to spend a ridiculous amount of money in Lush. I really do miss having their stuff-I used to be pretty much exclusive to them for my skin, face and hair care.
As soon as I'm all sorted, back on my feet, and have a job I will definitely be shopping there again :D

I wish i liked lush!
My friend got me a gift set from there.......not long after getting it i started getting a really bad headache......realised it was from the LUSH products :( but this was about 5 years ago so may have to have a little wonder an treat myself x

I am a Lush addict! There are none where I live but I have to go to meetings in London every now and again and there is a Lush in Victoria station.

I pop in there and reward myself after having survived an all day meeting without putting my foot in it!

OMG extreme envy! I thought I was bad for spending £50 there occasionally!! how long did it take you to use so much stuff?

Splashed out on the Soft Coeur today :) but picked up a catalogue and oh no, there are new things I want to try!

I love lush!!! Mmm!!

Though, I wouldn't work there... my sister did... and... they were campaiging to reduce the ammount of packaging on products... she and a bloke had to stand outside the store in nothing but their aprons lol (obviously wearing nothing to show reduced packaging of their products lol) they were in the local paper in the nudd!! Lol xx

ah yes, but that's what sets lush apart from the rest :D

that, and the fact that i've found that only nice friendly people work there :) i've yet to meet a moody/couldn't care less/non-smiling SA :D lol

the one yesterday, for example, was asking me about my skin type and helped me no end with which products to choose...

she gave me some free demos on my skin and also in a bowl... washed and dried my hands for me afterwards and gave me a free sample! i'm not going to get that in boots :D lol

i love their campaigns they do, and i also love their ethics and the fact that they won't touch a supplier who's even remotely connected in any way with animal testing. they source as many fair trade products as possible, and use pure essential oils in their products.

all in all, i think they're FAB :D x

Hehe... that's the trouble! And what with the xmas stuff coming out soon too... well, what's a girl to do?! ;)

It took me AGES to use it all up, and i've even got a small amount left! I thought i actually had a youki-hi left, and searched through my box the other night and was going to PM you and ask for your addy so i could send it to you (it was you that was on about youki-hi wasn't it?)... but i didn't have one unfortunately! I did find a stray lush pud though, lurking in the shadows! :rotflmao:
