O/T What did we do before t'internet?

This morning before I set off on my 6 weekly pilgrimage to Asda! I checked out freeview boxes on the internet, found the one I wanted in stock, reserved it for collection, and rolled up to collect it an hour later at the Comet next door! AND saved £5 for doing it on line! Life is SO much easier, I'd hate to do without it!

Life must have been so boring before the Internet....with me being virtually housebound during the week, the internet is my lifeline, for dieting, chatting, shopping and keeping in touch with my children especially my son who is in New Zealand - thank goodness for the birth of the PC and the Internet I say....a marvellous invention for one and all, young and old alike.

Before the Internet, I remember some weird place with a bue ceilings and green floors and we'd kick a rubber sphere full of air towards each other, bizarre...
