Off to Africa...

Evening all :)

Got back from Tanzania and glad to say I made it to the Uhuru peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. By far the hardest physical thing I have ever done and I fell ill shortly after and had to be rescued but I made it to the highest point in Africa and the top of the largest freestanding mountain in the world.

Would never ever ever ever do it again but so pleased I did it once :)

Pickies if you have time!!

Thanks everyone.

Am suffering a bit now with a few injuries LOL but they will heal and the memories will then live on.

Got up early to have a shave! I look like Robinson Crusoe....

Well done... so inspiring. I didn't expect a newsletter for the weeks you were away but there it was, like magic, just when I needed it most... thanks for still being there for us, even while you were off climbing your own mountains!
