Hiya,

Just to let you know that after 3 days on LT 100% I've decided its not for me. I know I've probably done the hardest bit and that it would get easier from now on in but I've realised that I need the flexibilty of being allowed one healthy meal a day. I really, really admire you all for sticking to it so rigidly and for being able to function like normal human beings! I've found it incredibly tough and have felt low and unwell. I had to do a 2 hr drive on the motorway yesterday and had to keep stopping coz I felt so faint and dizzy. For me, this diet isn't sustainable and instead of falling off the wagon completely and eating a big cake i'm moving straight on to a diet that will be more realistic for me.

I've just weighed myself and i've lost 4 lbs in 3 days :) i'm using up the rest of my LT shakes by having 2 a day plus 1 low calorie meal (no carbs!) and then going on to SF. I'll be on the Slimfast section of Minimims from now on!

You need to do what is right for you, and you have done it the sensible way, and not gorged yourself... Best of luck to you x x

Well done for making a decision rationally to something that will work for you, rather than falling off the wagon completely!

Well I said I'd let you know how I got on and I lost 6lbs wk 1 (3 days on LT 100%, 4 on Slimfast)! :) I'm dead chuffed and feel better already! I know I probably would have lost more if I'd stuck to LT but i'm finding Slimfast much easier to stick to so I think it's better for me long term.

I'll still be checking in from time to time as I think you're all amazing for having so much willpower. I'm jealous of your big losses!! Good luck everyonexxx

Whatever works for you honey is good! Ok it might take a wee bit longer but if it means that you stick to a diet, whatever it is, then surely that's the whole point? I'm adding a bar (not an LT crapjack which i cannot abide) whenever I need to take extra meds, I realise that it might slow my losses down but it's that or 'real' food and if I start on that I'm worried that I won't stop! Good luck:)

Youll b slim on the outside in no time!!!! Fair play to u and well done on the 6lbs. Id love to know more about slimfast- what d bars taste like, what u eat for your meal, if there is much choice, if you are hungry etc. Best of luck and make sure to pop in and let us know how your getting on.
