Oh No...

So i was worried about friday night anyway, im only on day 3 so it is harrrd im still hungry! so any way the day goes ok, but 30 mins ago i had a can of tuna instead of a shake!

Now i can already hear some of you laughing at how pathetic that sounds as a can of tuna has no carbs and less calories than shake so weightloss and ketosis wont(shouldnt) be affected...

But i feel asthough iv failed, i cant even get through one week on just shakes! not only that but i feel like that tin of tuna is going to turn into a pizza in the next few days! the evenings are harrrrd.:(

You haven't failed. Just keep going. You're going to do really well. Just keep looking forward. Just take each day at a time and befre you know it you'll be well on your way to being the new you. Keep strong and good luck xxx

I don't think anyone on here would think it's pathetic at all as a lot of us have been where you are now on day 3, me included so put down the stick and stop beating yourself !

You haven't failed. You've lapsed. There's a big difference hun. Yes, nights can be harder for some of us so even more reason to plan plan plan to distract yourself in ANY way. It's not easy but it can be done.

If you hold things as they are right now, tonight you shouldn't have caused any delay to getting into ketosis and I'm sure that will arrive soon. This is THE tough bit until your hunger reduces.

I can't be too tough with you here as I have been there myself but I will say, you DO have a choice here. It doesn't have to turn into pizza next few days until you CHOOSE to do that :hug99:

Can you see this as a positive or do you think I'm mad? :rolleyes:. You now know how easy it is for this to happen so at least you can be alerted. Do you like Arcade games? Have you had a look at the success stories on here and the inspirational phots thread yet? All great for motivation and distracting yourself.

Take a deep breath, gird up your loins and hang in there if you can. If you really feel you cant then you havent failed, just need to discover a different approach maybe but I would encourage you to see your first week out and see the loss you will have . Keep glugging the water and keep posting for support,

Day three is the hardest. Yes, your weight loss and ketosis may not be affected BUT it does mean you won't have got all the vitamins and minerals you need for the day, and that's a really important difference. Tomorrow is another day. You'll be fine

tuna is a blessing in comparison to what you could have had hun!!! You've done fab so far! :)
Write a list tomorrow morning of things you can do to occupy yourself in the evening.....i've been on my laptop, watched some come dine with me, had a lovely long bath, read some of my book, and now watching ugly betty....and drinking my last shake! Its just about retraining yourself! :)

and Isis,thank you! i do take that as being positive, i know its my choice, im just worried, i did CD before i lasted 3 measly weeks! I suppose iv got to look at it this way, astleast it was tuna and not a takeaway!

i just dont trust myself sometimes.

Iv just bought a book to keep me busy in the evenings and im gonna brush my teeth very early on in the evening so food isnt appealing with a minty mouth! lol.
And im going to completly clean my house tomorrow,top to bottom! thatwill keep me busy! and abit of exercise!!

I will do this. I wont let myself order a pizza or eat anything off the diet! i cant be this weight forever!

You've already got things planned and that's great because you are thinking about YOU and yes, it could have been much worse;)

Focus now and forget about ruddy tuna and enjoy the rest of the evening. If all else fails....go to bed xx ;):D:D:D

The most important thing to do is keep going; you will be fine. Let us know how you are getting on tommorow or whenever soon you can post.
Day 3 is hard - it does get better.
