Ok here goes, my journey

What a day I've had !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Work is absolutley awful at the moment. I feel so stressed out tonight that I could just do with a glass of wine & a good blart to get ot out of my system. Good news is i don't have any in so can't fall off the Dukan wagon.
Good news about my eyes though they finally discharged me, I've got thick corneas which keeps throwing up odd results when they do the tests. So that was the highlight of my day.

How's this for justice, had a call from my boss - more stress so thought stuff it I need a glass of wine. Got in the car to go & get some & it wont blinkin start again !!!!!!!!! Yes i'm in my pj bottoms too but at least this time it's right outside my front door

The office where I work roof has caved in & I've had to deal with all the issues that go with that today, loads of conference calls & now waiting to find out whether the part that we work in is safe or not, if not disaster recovery is to set up down in Bristol. OMG team are not happy & I think I will deffo need that wine tonight !!!!! Need a hug

I have really had 24hrs from hell !!!!!! home now & have a bottle of wine on the go plus I had chocolate today !!!!! So even now I am an emotional eater, don't think I'm ever going to break the cycle no matter how hard i try.
Dunno what's going on either, i'm bleeding & haven't had a period for years as I'm on the mini pill & they stopped completely. Could be everything that's going on recently as I have been through a bit of a stressful period. Who knows !!!!
Got the starter motor changed on the car today though so hopefully no more break downs in jimjams

Aww, Jo, you definitely need a hug! I'm tempted to say skip weigh in tomorrow but get yourself back on track with a day or two PP over Friday and the weekend. If you're anything like me, nothing beats the feeling of a good weigh in and you need that good feeling boost right now. Emotional eating is just so complicated but we weren't born that way so we can un-learn it. Just don't let it get too bad - enjoy the wine tonight but then get up tomorrow and re-focus.
We've all been there! Just look at your stats and remember how good it feels when you're in the zone. You can do it! Come back here and we'll all give you big virtual hugs whenever you need them.

Bloody hell Jo!! what a week!! jamas, cars, collapses!! Dont think a little wine is going to affect things in the long term, draw a line under it and move on, in the bigger picture its only a little blip, and we are all human who blip from time to time, chin up sweetie!!:flowers:Cx

Ive had unions involved today because one of the team decided that even though it was voluntary to go down to Bristol, with peer pressure she felt she had to go but really didn't want to but instead of speaking to me about it she dragged the union in & delayed everything getting back to normal. Thankfully there was a health & safety inspection & the building was deemed safe to go back & work from this afternoon. The thing is the day before I was told there are going to be job losses & I was going to have to choose who was going to go. I was struggling but after the last 36hrs I think the decision has been made for me !
So yesterday I went a little off track, but not so much so that I am thinking of throwing the towel in. I was just concious of the fact that I still use food & alcohol as a bit of a emotional crutch. yeah ok this week has been an expectionally bad week with all thats gone on & I did well not to cave in sooner but yesterday as soon as i felt it all becoming too much i went straight for chocolate. Anyway line drawn & back to normal today, i was supposed to be meeting up with one of my besties tonight but she's cried off & we are meeting up Tuesday instead. I'm quite pleased really as I would like a couple of days to get back into the swing of things.

Seeing TDM tomorrow, not seen him since last weekend's incident although we've been in touch throughout the week. Hope we get on this weekend as its only a fortnight to Dublin.

Good, no amazing, work on drawing a line there. Think we all know that's the hard bit - sooo easy to just give up and who knows where that can lead?!

Goes back to my multi dating days, all the guys had nicknames given to them by my friends & TDM's stuck. Everyone calls him TDM & he is in my phone as it. There was one called Shabba because we went out on a first date to a karoke bar & he sang Mr Loverman - by Shabba Ranks Oh the memories !
