that certainly did help Annette - many thanks - now I know a BNS is a freeby on both days, I'll go cook it now - hope it hasn't sprouted tho, as it must be 2 weeks old (!) cos like I said, I didn't dare use it until I knew for sure that it was free, so thanks again!!!!

Can I just add that sweet potatoes are different to yams!!!
I once bought yams, they are mostly bigger and longer (don't all rush to buy one now girls!!! ) and have a completely different texture on the outside that a sweet potato.
The flesh is white whereas the flesh of a sweet potato is more orangey!
