One day of eating and the weight is staying the same

I went to my friends wedding on Saturday with the intention of not eating as I am only 3 weeks into CD.

However I really didn't want my friend to find out I am on CD as when I did LT she got a bit stroppy (she's like that and only believes in diet and excercise and not my more extreme measures).

Anyway, I decided I'd eat that day and then go back onto the plan 100% on Sunday
And I did. I've followed CD to the letter since Sunday morning and (a few sneaky weigh ins later), I am a 1lb over what I was on my home scales last Thursday morning.

I don't regret my decision to eat at all, and woke up Sunday feeling like I had the worst hangover in the world. So now I know what happens when you eat, my experiment is over

But how can one day of eating, followed by 4 days of not, make this pound just keep sticking?

I know my body must have been desperate and was just clinging on to the carbs and calories, etc. but even I have been amazed how hard it's been to shift this pound.

I'm def back into Ketosis. :cry:

Hey Chele

It's because your glycogen stores and water retention have filled back up from the extra calories. Your body will always do that first and it's now going to take a few days to empty them back out again. Probably headed for a big loss next week.
Finally back in ketosis and showing a 1.6lb loss this week so think the weight is finally coming back down now. Yaaay
