Well firstly I would like to say I am including some pics lol but I dont have the confidence to be showing any lower body progress yet haha....

I have a portfolio of monthly shots I am taking that I intend to post all in a few months time.

But here is a link to my album at present where I have included a couple of shots from Feb 2009 - November 2009. Doesn't look like a massive difference - but I have lost 77lb with 66lb left to go since 1st July 2009.

I can't wait for 6 months time when I update you again :D

From not having any fitness levels and not being able to run, I have just joined a rugby team and am due to start training for that in December. It is amazing what the gym can do for you :)

Update 19/12/09: I will add more pics at a later date as I don't think these do any real justice ... I am only just finding that the last 4 weeks my body is really changing ... clothes that fit me ok 4 weeks ago are now literally unwearable ... I am not sure why the vast change is happening now after losing all this weight. Its odd this didnt happen before isn't it?

Hey. I dont have enough posts to be abe to view your pics yet but I just wanna say well done on the 77lb loss so far,thats awesome.
 
Slight update .... Since xmas is next week I had a massive clearout of old clothes I was hording etc ... I tried everything on and it really bought it to light just how far I have come ...

My jeans (unworn alot of them at £50+ a pop) 48" waist were HUGE!!! I am now currently down to a 40" waist.

Coats/Jackets .. lots of them under the stairs, all in black bags along with my jeans for a charity shop, they were like putting on and wearing a marquee!!

Unbelieveable, this is the first time I did this (in front of family too) and we were all so amazed lol, I have a coat I had when I was 17 (14 years ago, that I keep only for sentimental reasons that fits me again lol and before I could not even get it on ....

I am so happy!

I have been a bit slack with the gym routines this week with illness and one thing and another - but I still went even if I could only do half of what I was capable of before, I had a work function last night so didn't go ... we went to a restaurant, I drank water all night and my meal was a starter of chicken and veg soup and a main of chicken ceaser salad - while they all got wasted and ate lots of pasta with cheeses etc (italian).

Was the first time I went out and socialised with food, and was not hard in the slightest lol, I was looking down the menu analysing EVERYTHING thinking I cant have that because it contains a. b. or c.

Feeling 100% better now so back to my full regime instead of some half measure as of Monday..

I definately know what you mean when you say you haven't been able to give 100% at the gym, I've been the same and unlike you i'm still not well (chest infection) so i'm a bit worried about weigh in just after crimbo! :rolleyes:

Well done is all I can say to start with, and secondly, that is normal about the clothes, exactly the same thing happened to me, I started off just under 24 stone (like yourself) and as I hit the 16 mark, all the clothes that were tighter (not my really old clothes they were already hanging off but newer ones i'd bought in between) seem to appear like they'd jumped a few sizes up overnight lol. Strange because between 24 and 16 it was very slow changes.

Wish you good luck and you got this far so youll definately get there :) keep up the good work!

Hi and thanks!! yeah I agree totally wierd, I noticed some changes sure between 23st and 18st but 18st to 17st I lose weight and loads of inches, it was pretty fascinating trying on all my clothes yesterday .. lol the charity shop will have a ball, all named gear and most of it unworn!! shocker.
 
Haha I know the feeling, Im scared to buy anything else because im sick of givin it away again a month later, so i'm currently living from 2 pairs of trousers, 4 t shirts lol wardrobe is empty. Cant wait until I get to target, then I can finally fill it back up properly and have a choice of clothes to wear lol.
 
LOL Scotty, I had my work suits taken in so often that finally the seamstress told me she couldn't take my trousers in any more as my pockets would be on my arse mate. :D

Currently I have gone from a 48" waist down to a 38" waist, and top sizes from 5XL to just XXL :) I could get away with XL but I dont feel comfortable. hehe not got used to fitting stuff yet :D and its awesome buying clothes in a REAL and normal shop lol and much bloody cheaper haha
 
The start is always the hardest. I have found it gets easier, you'll do fab x

Cheers :) it really is annoying me at the moment though ... I spend 6 nights a week in the gym a minimum of a 1 hour intense workout, and now the scales really have slowed .... BIG TIME. I always push myself and change my routines so my body does not become used to it. My fitness clearly is improving as my heart rate has come down and recovers much quicker too... I have to push my self ten times as harder than this time in october to get my heart rate right up there when working out..

When your big, the big weight drops are awesome, lol and I always expected it to slow right down, but when it does its rather disheartening lol, especially when you see Kiira (piink Punk) having constant good losses. I wonder if I am really doing enough lol :D
