Oyster Sauce

Hey!

I know this is a bit of a confusing one as oyster sauce used to be synned and now I think it's free?!

I am having a chinese takeaway tonight for my dad's birthday and trying to work out what would be a good choice of food. I'm thinking of getting the monkfish with vegetables in oyster sauce... anybody got any ideas what the takeaway syn value for this would be?!

Even if there was a chicken in oyster sauce or beef maybe they would be similar?

I thought it was 1 syn per tablespoon. Not heard anything to say it's syn free now. In regards to your takeaway I'm no help im afraid, but I'm having one on Saturday so Id appreciate some help too x

Oyster sauce is definitely syn free as advised in the store cupboard staples of food optimising book, but chicken in oyster sauce is 6.5 syns for 550g, enjoy.
