Period again...

I've started again, I started taking my pill on the day of my last period, just over a week ago. I stopped taking it on Friday cos I thought it may be the reason I wasn't losing much in my second week. Well yeaterday I started bleeding again, sorry TMI!! Could it be down to the diet as I know some people bleed constantly while on the diet. I know with me my period is more painful on the diet but I never bled continuously. I have started my pill again today and will stay on it for the duration of my diet.

It could possibly be that as you only had a short burst on the pill for less than a full cycle your body hasn't caught up yet. It may be worth looking into the type of pill you are on. Which one is it? I have worked my way through every one on the market to finally find one that is good for me. I ha been getting my pills from the doctors for years and then when i ran out at short notice I had to go to a sexual health clinic and the nurses were fantastic as that is what they specialise in as doctors don't always tend to in fairness. She tried me on a few different ones which also had an effect on my diet as I was having far too much estrogen (prob spelt wrong) which increases appetite.

Just a thought it may be worth talking to your doctor or just allow your body a chance to catch up properly xx

I am not a doctor - but i'd have said that the second period was due to you starting, and then stopping the pill again. The link between the pill, and the hormones that trigger periods is much, much stronger than the link between what you eat and your periods.

CD has changed my periods - I'm less regular, and things seem less thick/viscous (now that's REALLY tmi :D), but i think since your periods arriving has happened at exactly the same time as you stopping your pill, it's pretty likely to be that.
