Porridge biscuits

Ok I may have missed this, have seen a few references to porridge biscuits but cant find the recipe or how you can eat them or how many, can someone explain, do you eat the instead of the bars? and how are they made, just gearing up to get myself back into TR again although not tried Exante before.
