she was born on wed by c section she weighed 7, 8lbs already love her so much :) I had a really bad time she was stuck under my ribs so felt everything x
 
Ah hun she is absolutely gorgeous, I'm loving these baby pics, when you say you felt everything do you mean it was painful? Or just lots of tugging and pulling etc? How are you feeling now? Love the name Hollie, we had chosen Hollie Rose but had issues with a family member over the name so we have gone with Naomi Rose. Are you healing okay? How long did it take for the section? Sorry for all the questions :) x
 
Thank you, the pictures make her look alot bigger she's actually quite small she being weighed tomorrow so be interesting to see what her weight is now, I could feel everything apart from being cut open cos ur more numb in ur tummy, usually you just feel light tugging but cos she was under my ribs I could feel the force and pressure of her being pulled out, they offered me a general after she came out cos of the pain putting me back together but I didnt want to miss out on seeing my baby. Recovery is more painful but thats cos its my third section, and I need more rest, had go back to hospital yesterday for stronger tablets as mw werent happy wiv wot they gave me and just found out today i shouldnt be taking these tablets cos im bf. We havent made up our mind on the name we like Hollie but we like Ava Rose ur name is pretty too x

Im still on my first pk of nappies and this is day 4 if that helps anyone x
 
Doesn't sound to good, but I'm glad things went okay, it's a shame your in so much pain. Baby still looks tiny bless, my lo was born 7lb 15oz but he still seemed tiny to me :) I think Ava Rose is lovely too x
 
I had an awful night last night with my spd and sciatica, I went to bed at 12, wasn't bad during the day or evening. By 5.08 I was up in agony for the 7th time not even an hour was passing, kept trying to turn myself over, then I was up at 6.30, 7.50, 8.40 and 9.40 then dragged myself out of bed. I'm now sitting on sofa with a blanket and I'm not doing anything today I feel ill from no sleep x

i want to stock up on more boxes of nappies but thibk i might leave it incase i dont like thw brand i have bought ,cz then at least if i not fussed on what i got i can get the bigger sizes in a diff brand
 
Rant warning - fil turned up nearly 2 hours earlier than he was meant to I wasn't ready, now haven't had a proper dinner, scoffed a packet of crisps and a pepperami, and a couple mouthfuls of lo's supernoodles. Then he is sat here getting hubby to sign some forms so that when he dies he can have his body donated to medical science! Wtf?! I can't be the only one to find this weird. His reasoning is he won't pay for a cremation or funeral! I'm going to flip I can't take much more from his family. I just wanna walk out and come back when he's gone. I'm so not in the mood for my head to be battered. Hope you ladies have a better day than I am!
 
Hi everyone. I'm 25+2 pregnant with my 1st baby. I followed slimming world before I got pregnant lost 18pounds in total and felt great. I had lots of support on here and did my food diary everyday. I'm not over weight as such just feel very unhealthy and dread to think what nutrients my baby is getting from all the rubbish I'm eating. I had terrible sickness and could barely eat anything for the 1st 4-5months. now sickness is a little better I'm eating everything in sight and even when I'm not hungry. I had 2mc's last year and it's taken 2years to get this far. we are over the moon and could not be happier. I'm due July 21st and everything is going perfect I just feel I owe it to by baby to be healthier and stop eating rubbish. I have a huge bump and people keep saying I must be having a big baby coz of my size. Midwife said everything is fine and I just look big coz I'm a tiny 5 ft 2 but eating healthy is best for baby.

Before I got pregnant I followed extra easy which I loved just wondering how to make it pregnancy friendly so to speak do I need to add anything like HEXA's or B's?

Only do extra easy, you get all 15 syns, and you get 2 x hea's and two heb's, good luck with your journey, do you know what your having? x

Thank you :) no we don't know the gender but I have a strong feeling it's a boy coz my bump is low! don't know if that makes a difference!! xx

I can't offer any advice as it wasn't easy for me and can't remember how I got it to work - think just kept trying.

There is a nipple cream, boots sell it. It begins with a L and is in a pale purple tube. I swore by it - made it much better.

Also make sure she is on the breast (is the word areaola?) not just nipple. If she just on nipple it will hurt. To be honest I can't really remember but it wasn't easy for me. I never got the natural let down reflex unless relaxed (even near the end). And when ur stressed its hard to relax. So really try to relax.

On a plus note once I got thru it it was fine and I breast fed for a year.
 
I breastfed tj in pain till he was 6 weeks. Midwifes n health visitors missed his tongue tie. My nipple hurt n my milk dropped n nipple come out a weird shape. Was only talkin to la leche league that i had a number for lactation specialist n he had his tie snipped been pain free since n i now love feedin!!

I found breastfeeding painful to start with as well, it does go away after a while just stick with it. The purple cream stuff is lansinoh and was a god send, really helped with the sore and cracked nipples. Would advise getting it from eBay as its £10 in the shop and you use very little of it, don't worry there's no way used tubes are unhygienic as its really hard to get out, comes out nearly solid but once you start using it, you tend not to need any more- brilliant stuff
Think breastfeeding is just quite uncomfortable in the beginning as your nipples are so sensitive and babies have a very strong suck reflex x

Hi Oasis! Sorry i haven't been on in a while...busy with work and sorting flat out for little one.

Im finding sleeping really hard at the moment, just feeling uncomfortable.... :(

I have my birth options appointment on Friday, i spoke to my midwife about having a c esction again and she agreed with me......she said they can't really refuse me if thats what i want.

How are you hun?
 
Morning girlys ! Sorry i havent been oon past week been a bit unwell with my eye and just not got on pc as much. Eye is swollen and painfull and i cant see properly its aparently blocked oil glands but i feel like i cant even go outside the house with it as i look like a monster.

With regards to breastfeeding the best cream i found was chamilosan its amazing comes in a yellow tube , it really helped ..ive struggled with breastfeeding every time as two of my were tongue tied and it wasnt picked up untill after i had given up.

Cas congrats on your baby girl hun sorry to here you had such a rough time hunny hope your on the mend now.

Weighed in this morning at 19.12 so at 30 weeks im standing at a four pound gain ...must go careful next few weeks.

Hows everyone else doing ?

Yeah I'm okay, having a few bad nights with my spd and sciatica, but I'll get there. My midwife asked me last week if I was having another section, she seemed surprised when I said no I was trying for vbac but we'll see if I get my normal birth. Have you got much left to get for baby? x
