Pregnancy and Slimming World

I might get the bio oil out in my last few weeks, depends how much bigger i explode to!!! hehe! i am thinking of taking a weekly photo now, so i can see how my bump is coming along :D i am currently hunting down a baby carrier, monitors and a spare light buggy on ebay!!! i love getting a good deal on stuff! xxx
 
Woo hoo 2lb loss this week, that makes a gain of 1st 9lb far
 
wow well done - 2lbs off.

I gave gained (again) and the thing is i have been quite good i thought (for me). i was quite bad yesterday tho but to be honest i weigh myself every day and today despite being bad yesterday was the least i weighed. oh and i work shorts and a top (so much lighter than jeans and socks haha)

so thats now 35.5lbs on and i really wanted to be under 35lbs (will have to try extra hard this week which will be hard as planning on a curry tomorrow night to induce labour lol). plus its the nursery summer fete in the morning so u can bet there are cakes galore cant u!! i just need to have the baby before next weeks weigh in so i dont put any more on lol!
 
Lol your only half a pound out, that's not too bad, weren't you quite small to start with

I weigh 14st 7 now at 5ft 7

I would eat all the cakes and keep telling myself baby would come this week lol
 
yeah but if i have another 2 weeks left i might put on even more!

i have a new tactic. am going to have a double lunch - i tried it today and feel a lot better for it. normally i have breakfast abt 8, lunch at 12 and have to wait til at least 7 for dinner by which time i am ready to eat anything. today i had breakfast at 8, a large snack/ lunch at 11 ish and then a second lunch at 2pm. feel loads better for it :) only probs is i find lunch hard enough to decide what to have without having to make 2 haha

i was 9-4 when i found out i was pregnant which made my bmi 21.6 i think. i am 5-5 (although to be homest i might actually be 5-4 but am refusing to drop an inch after i believed for years i am 5-5!) haha

is anyone addicted to low low cheese? i am going through so much of it but i now have 4 tubs in the fridge haha
its nice on ryvitta crackerbreads, or with carrot and cucumber sticks but today i had it with sw skinny chips (it was so so nice). i go for the spicy one!!
 
am now 11stone 11.5lbs (when i had my first, after having her i was 12-1 so i know its not that bad as i hope i will lose a stone of the weight just having the baby)
 
I weighed today after I had my gorgeous girl 1 week ago and I've lost 1st 2lb's, and I have been eating rubbish due to lack of sleep etc so I'm surprised I did that well so it can be done :) x

well done Oasis, that is fab loss! Ooh I hope I manage to lose more than a stone then like you but will be grateful with a stone.

Mummy Clark - for the normal BMI they recommend 25-35lbs (so hence my aim of 35lbs as i do like my food)!

BTW Morrisons have a 9 packs of pampers baby wipes for £7. They are my wipes of choice and i still use them after 3 years with Amy (altho now more for face and hands rather than bum lol)!

Haha, I always thought I was 5ft8 but when midwife measured me I was just over 5ft7.... I still say/think im 5ft8!!!

You were very small to start with so your doing really well!! :) xxx
 
I'm probably well over what my top range should have been then my bmi was 28 to start with.

I switch between the pampers and huggies ones, usually stock up when the asda baby event is on and buy a few boxes. Don't like the shop own brand ones, nothing worse than being able to feel the runny poo coming through the thin wipes.
 
Thanks ladies, you girls are so lovely.

With my height my work does a free bupa thing every 2 years (altho not been for a few years so will do it next year probably). its basically a check of your overall health. Well she weighed me and measured my height at 5-4.

I tried to argue (stupid i know) saying i have always been 5-5 and maybe i wasnt standing u straight enough. Anyway, she wouldnt remeasure me.

Anyway I was talking to my friend a few weeks ago who is the same height as me (if anything i always thought she was taller). She was talking about her BMI as she was not in the normal range yet (and i was like, yes you must be - you are under 10-12 which is the normal range at 5-5 and she said she is 5-4! Lol
 
Hi guys hope ur all ok, i hauent got chance to do a proper catch up just wanted to say still thinking of u all. Ive been in hospital since last friday was on high dependancy to start with but now on ward . My bowel stopped working and i was really ill also have a bloodclot and fluid in my tummy. Hoping to be realeased tomorow. Plus side ive dropped almost 2stone.

I am still here (but still got 4 days til my due date before starting the 2 week wait). Today so far I have had fresh pineapple, RLT and having curry for tea. Only prob is am having a boy and craved spice all through pregnancy so not sure curry will help. Got pinepple for dessert after the curry also!

Baby has been quiet today (thats supposed to be a sign) - he is stil moving just needs a bit of prodding and encouragement. Then again maybe he is having a rest or low and behold another growth spurt haha.

Am nesting by delegation (hubby is doing the housework).

What happened for your bowels to stop working? My friend had a very bad bowel problem as a result of pregnancy so am intrigued what yours is.

It was because of my section hun . They had to majorly handel my bowel and also had a lot of scar tissue

Och u've had a rough time so far! Im sure u r shattered & will need plenty of rest when u make it home! Have they got the fluid under control with tablets r anything now? That will make u feel very uncomfortable too! On a huge plus though u have a really beautiful bundle of joy to look at which I'm sure puts everything in perspective & seem worthwhile! Really hope u r on the mend now & get home to your own wee bed soon! X x
