Don't know what an oatcake is but sounds gooooood :)

It's a staffordshire thing. Like a pancake but savory. U have it with a full English breakfast instead of toast or you wrap things like bacon, beans and cheese in it. They are delish x

Hey guys, decided to join this thread! Was doing sw since August (and a few times before that :-/) just found out I'm pregnant, about 6 1/2 weeks :) hope all you ladies are coping well with sickness! I just want comfort food after the sickness has gone! I've done SW for both my pregnancies and I was never told of having 2 a's and 2 b's?? You only get an extra a with breast feeding. That's what my consultant told me as its such a healthy way of eating there is no need?! So confused! Lol x

Hi

Welcome. I am 8 weeks so not far ahead of you. Sickness awful for me at the moment feel sick all day everyday only thing that slightly helps is the food....and all the naughty stuff! Ooh dear! X

Hi Everyone :D

I Would love to Join you all on this Thread..I've been Doing SW For 11 Months now and i've Discovered i'm roughly 6 Weeks Pregnant by my Calculations with my Second Baby. Been to Group Tonight and had a Chat with my C about continuing on Plan and ive got all the Info i need..just need to Clear things with My Midwife i'm due to meet this Coming Monday to get the Go-ahead and its all Systems Go :D

My last Pregnancy was kinda Fraught with Complications on Different Levels but 1 Huge thing was my Weight..i was around this Weight when i had my Son 3 Years ago and continued to Gain a Further 5 Stone in the Next 2 Years. I Do Not wish to make the Same Mistakes again..

My Original Target Loss was 12 Stones..Now My Main Goal would be to Keep the 5 Stone i've already Lost off and find out what would be a Healthy & Safe loss in the Weeks/Months Coming, i Really Want to be as Healthy as i Can be throught my Pregnancy & Beyond..

I Hope you are all Well & Good & Enjoying your Pregnancies..And look forward to Sharing/Recieving any Moral Support/Advice etc in the Future..:)

Congrats on your pregnancy & your weight loss so far, lots of friendly advice here!! :)

You definitely get an extra a & b and you're recommended to do extra easy and use your full 15 syns!! I think it used to be different but you do get the extras now I have the little booklet you're consultant should give you when you tell them you're pregnant or breast feeding! If you haven't been given the booklet then you should have a word with your consultant as they're not doing they're job right! Lots of people seem to get told different info which is rubbish!! You also get tonnes of extra healthy extra when breastfeeding exclusively depending on how old the baby is! I'll type up the info from my leaflet at some point but I'm off to bed in a min xxx

Heya ladies :) been away on a girly holiday and have made very very bad food choices! Looking huge but had a great time. Back on the SW bandwagon tomorrow... As soon as I polish off the tin off Roses ;) hope everyone is doing well! I am also a fan if choccy spread lately. Especially on toast!

You look fab chick! Sounds like you had a fab time too and we're allowed to treat ourselves now and again :D

I ate soooooooooooooooooo much naughty food over Freddie's birthday weekend, buffet food is the best but I'm reet back on it now!! I actually lost 2 lb at group this week putting me 2.5 lbs under when I found out, I was well surprised, didn't expect a loss, very pleased though as I'm sure this weeks gonna be bad! I'm hoping not to put on more than 2.5 lbs as it would be lovely to have another week before I got over the weight I was when I found out but if I don't I don't! Felt crap last night though after eating so much rubbish!!

I went to boots today looking for something to help me drop off to sleep as i find it really hard to switch off and now I'm so uncomfortable & wake up to pee in the night I'm getting no sleep! Was hoping to get some lavender spray I'd been recommended but the pharmacist said I couldn't as its got essential oils in which can bring on early labour, eeeeeek!! Gutted though as I really need some sleep, can't have a warm milky drink right before bed as I'll have to get up and pee, may try a bath later but I've always been more of a shower girl, has anybody got any good suggestions??xx

Thanks for the heads up about the oils I had no idea :( I love using lavender oil for drifting off guess that's the end of that x

Apparently it's fine to use it in small doses

Thanks for sharing :) didn't realise that some oils could cause such severe reactions in pregnancy :(
