QUEEN SIZE TO PRINCESS

All this talk of buffalo chicken, I had defrosted some chicken breasts, so that is what we are having for tea. (I had to replace the white wine vinegar with red, didn't have tabasco sauce) it is smelling garlicky and yummy in the oven. Kids and Oh are having theirs with oven chips and I am having a red day so just lots of veg so I can pig out on 2 HEb's later :D

Well done on the losses girls, and wow to the size 16, one day that will be me.

Evening girls,

If you went down the scales, fantastic and well done! Remember down is down and free is free!

Well moi had her interview today, talk about tummy churning and dry mouth. Five of the bu**ers all sat gorking at me from the other side of a table and poor little me sat all on me lonesome!

They must have been working on their questions for weeks, why oh why do they feel the need to put you on guard with their trick questions and their aloofness. My stomach is still churning now!

Anyways the call came this afternoon, I am once again to be known as miss!!! I start after my cruise as a specialist ASD/AS tutor/mentor at all three of our college campuses... (campus) when the hell did that word come into play, :8855:sounds all American to me! lol:8855:
I will have to up my game though...I'm from primary not bloomin college.:(

Hey everyone,

thought I would drop in and say hello :wavey:

Well done on all the losses- I WI tonight and lost a 1lb. God its been a long hard slog and still not lost a stone yet! Getting back on track now though so hopefully will keep steady now have started class.

Patsy well done on the job! What subjects will you teach?

Dudette- do you have the recipe for that cake? Sounds yummy!

The buffalo chicken sounds yummy may have to try that!

Anyway will keep it short and sweet but hope everyone is ok and feeling positive.

Claire xx

Evening all! Hope everyone is well, despite this revolting weather - can someone please tell summer it's not time for bed yet!! (Especially as I am going to the New Forest for the long bank holiday weekend!)

Wow - well done Patsy! First interview and you hit the bullseye! :happy096: Lol at the interview tactics though! I interview a lot (have just recruited 5 new team members) and they all tell me that I'm completely inscrutable - they can't tell whether I thought they were any good or not! I don't hold any truck with trick questions though, load of rubbish!

Well done to everyone with losses! This team certainly is the 'A' team isn't it (yeah, I'll volunteer to be Mr T!!)

I have been a naughty girl today and had a nandos for tea! Could have been worse, although no matter how hard I tried to order spicy rice, the word 'chips' just jumped out of my mouth...:D Still, I did my 30 mins on the wii earlier and hadn't had any syns today before that, so I felt like a little treat!

Sian - that cake sounds like a naughty treat! Hope you enjoyed it!

Well done Corsacar on the trousers - bet you walked tall in them all day!

Hello ladies, hope you are having a great day.

Well done everybody on your losses and thank you for the lovely recipe I will be sure to try that.

3.5 lbs off for me this week which got me my 3.5 stone shiny. Wohooooo getting there.

Everything tastes pants today, I wonder why?

Evening all! :D

Patsy - woooooooooooooooooooooooooo!! Well done you hun! :D That's fabulous news!! So chuffed for you sweetpea!

Claire - I said it on your diary, but well done on the loss hun!! :bliss:

Oh, the weetabix cake was a variation on Britmum's recipe. I used two chocolate weetabix (HexB + 2 syns, or 8 syns if you've used your HexB), 2 sachets of caramel options (4 syns), 3 tbsp of splenda, 1 tsp of vanilla essence or extract, half a mug of coffee (as strong or as weak as you like) and 3 eggs separated. First you soften the weetabix with the coffee, then add the egg yolks, vanilla essence and chocolate options (the original recipe uses cocoa but I didn't have any!) and mix thoroughly. Whisk the egg whites to the soft peak stage and fold in to the weetabix mixture. Pour it into a microwave-safe dish and cook on for about 5 minutes (may be longer/shorter depending on the power of your microwave - ours is a 1200W). And that's all there is to it. It is a bit strange in consistency as it's a bit like a chocolate omelette, but it was lovely with the chocolate orange mullerlight and orange segments on top :) Britmum tops hers with quark/sweetener mix, a little bit of honey and sliced banana, which would also be lovely. All in all, it works out as between 1.5 and 3 syns for 1/4 of the cake :)

Spanx - ooo, hope you have a fab time in the New Forest! Try not to be too naughty ;)

Hope everyone's had a fab day!

Sian xxx

patsy fantastic news on the job :happy096: congrats to you hun.

carole fabulous loss!! well done:) and a new shiny :D.

claire well done on your loss :).

have a great evening .
xx

Spanx - ooo, hope you have a fab time in the New Forest! Try not to be too naughty ;)

Ha! No chance of naughtiness Sian, am going with my Mum, Dad and son and meeting my sister and her 3 kids down there - think I will be worn out from all the running around and far too well chaperoned to get up to any naughties!!!

Did someone mention naughty??? lmao

Thanks for all the congrats, you are such a lovely bunch of girls xxx

I'm just back from my Wed night out with the girls... took the car so not a drop, had seafood and spicy rice so not a bad food choice either. I'm doing ok at the moment, but you can never tell when the peeks turn to troughs! lol

Brilliant losses Claire and Carole :happy036:

In class on Monday night the C said that the new Ryvita sweet onion are 3 for a HEb, I had some last night with laughing cow triangles (HEa) and cucumber and ham, they were really delicious, think I will have them from now on instead of normal ryvita even though you get one less as your HEb.

Nandos sounds like a great place to eat, wish we had one (maybe not, too tempting)

I am having a fish day today. Have a lovely day everyone and be good little SW angels

Morning my little sweets,

Well I hardly slept, all this new job stuff whirring round my head! OMG :eek:this is college! I'm used to primary school, now I know what my Yr6's felt like.:(

Anyways... Its my big date today, with... Bev! Hope we recognize each other, she has dropped another stone since last time we met and I have dropped my wrinkles, just wondering if we should do the wearing of a red rose thing!:8855:

Another thing I was thinking of, what will I eat, I haven't had to do this packed lunch lark! so I normally do jacket spud, omelet, beans on toast for lunch, something warm and filling. I'm not a cold wet salad kinda girl. So if you have any ideas, it would really help!

Right, this looser is off to check her millionaire city on face book (thats what happens when you don't work!) and then get the house in order!

Have a lubberly day xxx:D

Morning one and all :D

Some fabby losses girlies - well done!:clap:

Patsy - Congrats on the job chuck. First interview and you nailed it :D Brilliant! xx

As for packed lunch ideas.....I dunno what to suggest really  Will you have access to a microwave or summat in the staff room? If you do, then there's loads you could take. Tricky if you don't though  I usually take a box of salad or some leftover 'last nights' to warm up in the microwave. Some times I might just take a tub of cottage cheese, toms, cuc and a some ryvita. I always take fruit and yoghurt and a low syn treat......the low syn treat is in case of emergencies but I quite often leave it in my drawer :angel09: lol Anyway, we can discuss the possibilities over *cough* lunch today  lol

Spanx - have a fab weekend chick. You've just reminded me that it's bank holiday weekend (dunno how you managed that mind! lol) and I don't have to go back to work until tuesday!! YAY lol Will you and your son be taking your bikes? :D

Sian that cake sounds eeeeeeeeer different. lol I might try it if the 'sweet cravings' appear, although I tend not to bother with dessert recipies cos I've never come across one that tastes convincing  PLUS I'm a greedy pig and would wolf the lot! rofl

Sorry I've missed a shed load of stuff again, but gotta dash, wash my hair and make myself look thinner (pmsl) for my hot date. :8855:

Have a great SW days everyone xxx

And just remember.......destiny is not a matter of chance, it's a matter of choice :D You can do this girls!

I got that off my SOTW fridge magnet btw. I've got 7 now, all with different motivational sayings on them - fab they are :D

Morning all. I hope everyone's enjoying the torrential rain. *Checks roof* phew!

So many things to congratulate people on.

Corsacar-well done for WOTY! It must feel wonderful knowing that people find you inspiring. Size 16, wow!

Sian-you're our woty of course! It must be tricky doing it alone, you deserve an award for that, I know I couldn't do it!

Patsy-First interview and you aced it, fabulous!

Karen-sorry to hear you're unwell but well done for going along to WI and your loss. I have my fingers crossed for you this week and hope you get your 2 new stickers.

Clw10 - Well done for not giving up and having a blow out. I'm not entirely certain how calorie counting works but make sure you aren't going hungry, hunger does crazy things to our bodies and can have the opposite effect to the one desired. If you aren't going hungry then ignore me and keep going because you will see a loss, promise!

Capricorn-Well done for starting the gym! I've really missed going over the summer.:(

Freshstart- Well done on the loss.:)

Carole-You're a star, well done on the big loss and a new sticker.:D

Bev and Patsy-Hope you have a good day together. I heard on the news about warning signs appearing all over town, they're on to you. :giggle:

I hope I haven't missed anyone out. Sorry if I have!

Well after a couple of weeks of half hearted effort I'm back stronger than ever. It's been about 6 months since I started so think I've been getting too lax recently and it has to stop! This week I am having scan bran everyday, I don't know how well it works but it's meant to be a great boost. Can't believe how expensive it is though grrr. I'm also drinking green tea because it's supposed to help and I've ditched the diet coke for water, anyone know how long I should expect to feel crap without it? I can only put my constant headache down to lack of coke which shows how evil it is! So anyway, all this effort and pain I'd better see a good loss next week or I'll .

This morning I took the car to the garage to have some work done and in the past I've had to get a taxi home which is really bad because it's not even a long way from home. Today I decided I'd try and walk it and managed, yipee. I'd like to say it was easy but that would be a lie. My hips just don't want to play along yet but still, I could at least breath.:D

Phew, it's like writing a novel once I get going. I'll leave you all in peace.:p

Have a great day xx

have a great lunch date patsy and bev:).

spanx hope you have a nice weekend in the new forest:).
xx

Hi, and thanks! I haven't been going hungry, but i've always been puzzled by my body! I think it's backwards. LOL. I have never had a huge appetite. Even previously when I had pig out Sundays with the hubby (LOL) I could eat like a 2-3 slices of pizza and be stuffed! Still waiting for the doctor to get in touch about bloods he wants to test for things. Until then I'll carry on and maybe eat less, but more often. Like try 4 small meals/ snacks a day or something??? It's a real puzzle!

I've started drinking herbal teas now too- they're quite nice. I have a vanilla and caramel one to treat myself with later! Smells delicious!
