Question about mince!!

Hi,

Just wanted to ask that if I use lean steak mince and dry fry it to remove any fat from cooking would it be free on red plan or do I have to have the extra lean mince for it to be classed as free?

I picked up the wrong one by mistake when I went shopping and don't want to waste it!!!

OMG!!!!

I have just answered my own question!!

I have managed to find it on syns online and was shocked.

The 700 and something gramme pack I bought amounts to approx 21 syns.

I will be back to Tesco to get some extra lean later!!!!!

i always thought if you cook it and adrain off all the fat its free

That what i do too. the extra lean is so much more expensive. i drain as much of the fat off as possible.

someone said to pour hot water over the meat to drain it.

me too i always buy the lean mince and just drain the extra fat! does me no harm and i luv it!lol x
