Question about SW chips

Has anyone ever done the boiling stage, left them cool, roughed them up then frozen then for future use like oven chips?

I haven't done this, but I can't see that there would be a problem.

I don't even boil mine anymore, just put them straight in a hot oven. I find they come out just as nice.

I've never thought about doing this to be honest, i don't see why you couldn't do it.. i think it's a good idea. Think i'l give it a try myself

I don't boil them, just wack them in the actifry x

I boil them in salt water for about 5 mins then ruff them up, apply frilight and more salt and pepper and wack them in the oven! DELISH!!

I have an airfryer (not an actifry). I boil, cook until nearly done and freeze when cool. They only take a few minutes from frozen. perfect when you are hungry!

Sw suggests boiling them, drying roughing up then layibg on a tray and freezing them then bag them up. I bought an actifry last week so just chop shove in actifry spray the oil and go back in 20 mins x
