quick questions - is CD like slimfast?

    someone at work is doing slimfast and is sounds a lot like CD. she has 2 shakes a soup and a bar. what is the difference in the two diets? is slimfast just a copy of CD?

    also, my CD told me on the first day that if i was totally depserate then the best thing to have was some small pieces of chicken. is this true?

    Yep what your CDC told you is very true as chicken is protein which won't knock you out of ketosis and when you get to your add a meal week (AAMW) that's more than likely what you'll be having.
    As for being like slim fast no it's not the same as CD is nuritionally balanced and from what I understand there's actually a lot of sugar in the slim fast shakes. It's basically a very poor copy of CD but I believe your friend should be having an evening meal with her slim fast diet which we on CD don't have to do.

    Slimfast and CD are very different as stated above CD has all the recomended nutrition vits and minerals that you need for each day .You also have the support of your CDC who can advise you on your journey .

    I would not eat chicken as if you start picking this early on your journey you will never get into ss 100% and as you get away with a little bit you will get the mind set of a bit more wont hurt .You only need to get into ketosis and the hunger will go away battle on hun .

    If you struggle try one of the higher plans and work your way down to ss is a better plan good luck on your journey xx

    CD and slim fast are completely different formulas. On slimfast ketosis is unlikely as the packs contain alot more carbs and sugars. Slim fast also relies on you having a 600 calorie meal (I think!! LOL) whereas CD is total abstinence on SS.
    If you struggle, best as Mandye says not to pick if you can help it, split your packs and have them in halves or have an extra half pack or whole pack (if on 3 a day).
