Going to try quinoa this morning for breakfast. Anybody else had this in lieu of porridge? I'm thinking about boiling it with skim milk, water and cinnamon and sweetening it with splenda. Thoughts?
 
I've never tried it for breakfast before. I think you have to cook it until it starts sprouting? I've only ever had it stirred into a tomato-based sauce...you can't really taste it then!
 
If you cook fora long time in milk, and when almost done, add somecinamon, and/or some sweetner, and its just like rice pudding.. its yummy..

it takes ages to cook, so allow for alot of time!
