menu looks good as ever rachael, will be very surprised if you dont get your 2lbs

thanks Jane :D i have been sooooo good. That cake i had yesterday - i had a lemon one, a golden syrup one and a jamaica one.. they were all on half price at work and i had bought them to send in a hamper to my friend over in the US, but i forgot to put them in, so opened the lemon one.. was dead disappointed in it but you know when stuff is just there and you'll eat it just for that reason? I was like that yesterday.. so tied all of them up in a big plastic bag and forced Matty to take them home with him. He'll never go hungry cause there is so much stuff that I impulse buy and then don't eat! :p

and sorry Vicky.. didnt mean to :p

so know what you mean, i can be eating something and suddenly realise that i'm not even enjoying it, Good news is i'm getting better at stopping eating when i have that lightbulb moment. its also so disappointing when something naughty isnt so nice!!
but least you got rid of the rest. when we get tins of biscuits at christmas for eaxample- i make Ian take them to work so they are out of the house or i know where they'll end up

i do that too.. but unfortunately as i only get xmas day and boxing day off, i go back on the 27th and everyone else has brought their xmas sweets into work too! :(

and yeah, was SO disappointed at the cake.. sainsburys lemon cake is MUCH nicer!

Make your own babe and then it will always be awesome :D

Hey Rach, Good Idea packing matty off with the cake. Wish I had that will power. Another 2Ib off this week for sure!
Have a good afternoon xx

At least our oh's have a use..eating all the bad stuff we want to aviod! may appreciate mine a bit more now!:Dx

thank you all for popping over :D well i went to go for a swim, car wouldnt start  so over 2 hour wait for RAC to come out - i knew exactly what was wrong, the old style micra is renowned for not starting due to damp wiring when the weather isnt great.. and i used half a tin of wd40 on it and would it heck as like start?! No. So guy comes out 2 hours later, does everything i've done and adds a tiny bit more wd40, car starts and i get the "well you shoulda used more wd40" lecture (er, hello? people like me keep you in a job you jack*ss so don't you patronise me! I live in the middle of bloomin' nowhere.. i'd have to walk 8 miles to find somewhere to buy myself some more wd40.. dont you think i would have just bought some if i could?! :p)

so i havent been for a swim. Was going to do aquafit tonight but instead have talked Matty's little bro into coming to see Star Trek with me :D YAYZ!

food plan is as always pretty much completely different from original:

today's plan:

B - 2 weetabix (2) 1/2pt soya light (1)
L - 1/2pk chilli so much fat free noodles (turns out its 4 for the whole packet, somewhere i got confused so only 2 :D) onion, mild chilli powder (0) light soy sauce (0.5) strawberry wildlife yoghurt pouch (1.5)
T - sainsburys tin basics cream of chicken soup (2) 1 bread bun (3) lettuce, tomato, cucumber, celery, pickled red cabbage (0)
S - pear (1) 20g innkeepers choice cheese (2) 150g raspberries (0.5) 10 strawberries (0.5) 3 slices WW thick slice bread (3) pease pudding (1.5)

AN old car of mine broke down on a petrol station forecourt ( sainsburys actually) and i knew what the problems was and even how to fix it but the bonnet catch was stuck. So this guy comes over and tries to help, he tried to lever the bonnet up with a screw driver. fool manages to stick his screwdriver through the radiator, water starts pouring out!! he says "there's your problem your radiators leaking" gets back in his car and drives off

Thanks for you help mate!!

hahaha what a d*ckhead! bet you were fuming! i was just about to say you shouldve driven after him.. but you couldnt if you had water pouring outta your radiator! *thick moment* :p

Hi Rach

I've been so bad and not been on forum for most of week, having car troubles too so been staying at boyfs house so i could use his car, just as well!! Anyway i got it back and its all fine now, oh and by the way my breakpads were worn right down eek!! Just as well i asked the garage to check them. So I am defo skinto for the rest of this month!!

Anyway amazing loss, 8lbs - bloomin fantastic, well done you. Loved the swimming cossie by the way its gorg, im hanging off in the hope i can lose a good few more pounds before i buy more hol clothes.

Hopefully going to see star trek tomorrow, will that have been twice you'll have seen it if you've talked matty's bro into seeing it??? I'm quite looking forward to it even tho im not a trekkie!

Hope you have a great weekend!!

My first car a mk2 escort used to start first time - next door neighbours daughter had same car and hers would never start in the morning - all due to the damp wiring - but living in the middle of nowhere means you just have to have the car -

really hope that the car behaves for you over the weekend

with the rac they do cancel the call out if you complain about the way you were treated by their staff - as you know you get x number of call outs after that they can charge you - so it could pay to have that visit wiped off your record - I always say I was a little concerned about the way I was spoken to/treated - well I say always its happened twice in 8 years

Hey Rach, Hope you enjoyed the cinema last night.
Have a good weekend and hope the car behaves. xx

Hi Rach

Been meaning to ask - what exactly is bulgar wheat? What' the consistency like when it's cooked??

xx

its kind of like cous cous but still similar to brown rice as brown rice has that chew to it that white rice doesnt.. if that makes sense..

either way, a bag will only cost you 80p or something so it's worth a go.. 80g is only 1.5 whereas 80g rice costs you 4.. and once you have your sauce on or whatever, its really nice :) i use it most of the time for chilli / curry now as it saves me a few points for my mini milks and other treats :D

had one more thing last night - an alpro soya chocolate drink for 3 points so was over by 0.5 in the end.. will pull that back today :)

food plan:

B - 2 weetabix (2) 1/4pt soya light (0.5)
L - cod fillet (3.5) cauliflower and green beans (0)
T - 2 quorn southern style burgers (4) broccoli (0)
S - 2 pumpkin ryvita (1.5) 20g innkeepers choice (2) tin sainsburys basics vegetable soup (2) apple (0.5) pear (1)

Hiya

Ohh thanks - well give that a go next time I go to the supermarket. I prefer brown rice to white ... and do miss the rice with my chillis :)

xx
