mmm quorn n spinach curry sounds lovely!!! Nice menu hun! I have a bag of quorn just waiting to be cooked in the freezer think i might do a curry now good idea hun!

I had my quorn, spinach and mushroom curry was delish. The quorn portion is so huge though! I had it with pasta, and when I measured out the 40g I thought 'no way! thats nothing' but once i added the quorn (Only used 150g) it was a HUGE meal.....yum yum, will do that one again.

So all is going well for me 1000 wise, 100% yesterday, upped my water as much as I could.....hopped on scale this morning and back down to what it was before my weekend away, which is great, now only if I could keep it moving down.

Off to a doctors appointment today (been waiting for it for 2 months mind you) as my periods have been all over the shop this year! even before cd started. 5 weeks one time then a 2 week break, then for another 9 weeks, and now after they stopped all my meds, I havent had it since may time.....scary hey, hopefully I will get some answers today.

Menu plan:
Breakfast: stewed apple (greek yog) and coffee
Snack: pear
Lunch: cd bar and coffee (maybe a cappucino when in town)
Snack: apple (or stewed with yog if home)
Dinner: Quorn fillet with tandoori spices and sprouts and mushrooms.
Snack: froz tetra and berries, or might try sunshines cd choc custard and berries

Apart from doctor and putting some photos of travels on net for my family, thats all I have planned.

Oh and I got tickets for Rob Thomas back in Australia in Feb, so excited!!!

My curry was lovely thanks hun, didn't have any spinach though so used sprouts n cauli all squidged in together and served with couscous....yummmmm!!

Hey guys just back from the docs. They dont know what goes on and are referring me to a 'hormone' specialist.....my hormones are certainly up the duff (I'm not literally though!)

Heading back to aussie land by christmas this year. Plans are august september travel europe, work for 1 month or so october, then november head to US and then home by christmas.....gotta see how long money lasts really!

Eating wise going very well, starting a journal today also....should be helpful.

Phone has major crack in it and I dunno how it happened, quite upset bout that. Gonna cos the price of a new one to fix, grrr.

Wow Raquel, so jealous of you travelling around Europe. I also had worries about giving up CD altogether, I have kind of hung on to them for dear life, but last week when I was away I took all my packets, but only had a choc bar when I arrived as I felt very light headed and it was past lunchtime, after that I never even thought of having them as I was so busy, and started with a healthy breakfast and small banana, now I am back I am having trouble getting back into having them now, I think they are such a waste of their calories, the choc bar is 172 calories, you could have 2 light alpen bars and an apple for those kind of calories...
 
Morning everyone!

Well my head cold has finally set in and I'm feeling quite ordinary, grr....hate it!

So yesterday went quite to plan small deviation of a little end of the baguette with my tea, but it stopped there was quite happy with that. Dinner was a salad; spinach leaves mushroom and spoon of cottage cheese with chicken and wholemeal pasta..........very yum, think will have it again tonight. Did not have time for last CD meal though.

Went to movies to see Bruno last night with my boy, not quite sure what to think! But I took some blueberries and had a cappucino during the movie itself. Was lovely, but weird as I am so used to having a snack of other sorts while at the movies.......did not bother me too much though.

Todays plan, is to get some cold and flu tablets and rest it up inside....so i can be better to do things.

Snack: Raspberries
Lunch: CD Bar and coffee
Snack: Pear
Dinner: Quorn fillets with salad of spinach leaves mushroom and spoon of cottage cheese with wholemeal pasta.
Snack: CD froz tetra with stewed apple.

Morning everyone

Feeling a little better this morning still head cold-y but not as bad as yesterday, silly me didnt leave the flat time late in the arvo to get cold and flu tabs so I have only taken them once, not gonna do much good yet.

Food plan for yesterday was - wanna edit in changes
Breakfast: Stewed apple (spoon of yog) and coffee
Snack: Raspberries
Lunch: CD Bar and coffee cappucino
Snack: Pear
Dinner: Quorn fillets with salad of spinach leaves mushroom and spoon of cottage cheese with wholemeal pasta.
Snack: CD froz tetra with stewed apple. Did not have last snack as I had 1cm slice of baguette and couple mouthfuls of my boys pasta sauce. Got the guilts a bit to have my last snack.

Day went ok I guess, trying to be really planned to help me stay on track. My boyfriend is loving this though, as when he walks in at 6 his dinner is served up and ready on the table (I cook him I separate meal to mine).

Last night I started working through the end of chapter journal activities in Eating Less by Geneen Roth, I think I am going to find this really useful. I have been writing in the journal my eating for the day as well as my thoughts for the day also....hopefully if I do deter from 1000 (which I am determined not to) I will see maybe my emotional cause for this, if that makes sense.

So today, once I feel I have the energy, will get up and head to a net cafe and update blog, then go to Oxford St, have a wander round there and then meet a girl who I worked with for coffee in the arvo. haha, nothing too strenuous today......so lovely to be a lady of leisure......gee I may not want to go back to work in Oct/Nov, could get used to this :):):)

Evening everyone

Had a lovely day today....caught up with my workmate, spent 3 hours in a cafe looking at her wedding photos and chatting, was lovely.

Eating wise so far:
Breakfast: Apple
Snack: Blueberries (50cals)
Lunch: CD bar and cappucino
Snack: Another cappucino as I am typing this..

Has not gone as I have planned, but nothing off cd so its all good.

Looking forward to a quiet night it, maybe a movie with my boy.

Weighing with my CD tomorrow, scales have not changed since I last saw her, but they will show eventually, maybe when I move up to 1200 tomorrow I will start to see a change.

Raquel, your menu today is nowhere near 1000 cals, maybe that is why your weight isn't moving, your body may be holding on to the fat because you are not eating enough. But I could be wrong... lol
 
Just checking in my full food diary for today.

Green eyes, thanks for your advice, my food was short of calories earlier, but I had not yet had my dinner so that may be why.

Eating today:
Breakfast: Apple
Snack: Blueberries (50cals)
Lunch: CD bar and cappucino
Snack: Cappuccino
Dinner: spinach leaves, mushrooms, tin tuna and cottage cheese, ate late and was hungry so had small wholemeal roll with meal (roll is around 130cals - similar to carb portion allowed)
Snack: Froz tetra with 50 cal of raspberries.

Total calories for today is approx 950 as I missed one 50 cal fruit portion.

Fingers crossed for another good day tomorrow

Sounds like your doing fab hon..... Your menus look great..
I tend to have the same thing everyday I perhaps need to start varying my menu..

Well just got back from cdc, scales have not moved - but to be honest I am not down about it at all as I know they will, if I stick to the plan. May be my body getting used to it. I dont know if maybe it is cos I have not had the required amount of water, also finding it hard to go to loo (could be not enough water too).....cdc is happy and I am so happy with her, she is just brilliant. In the last 5 or so months she has really helped me sort out the emotions and to understand my thought patterns, and the effect it has on my eating.

Because I am leaving for 2 months, I want to get something to say thankyou. What could I buy her? Not like I can get her chocs!

Anyways, I am moving onto 1200 today, though finding it hard to consume all the required foods. Need to plan food from tomorrow onwards so I do it properly. Today, is gonna be hard and I will stay with 1000 as its 2pm and I have only had blackberries, an apple and a cd bar.
