    There are some ready prepared veg that my supermarket sells from a company called Mash Direct - they have carrot and parsnip, turnip, colcannon. They are great just peal off the film and pop in the microwave - would these be free ???

    You should read the list of ingredients - not just what it says on the front of the pack, but the small print on the back.

    If it is just vegetables, then it would be free, but any oil, butter, cream, thickeners, etc., means that it would have syns.
