Quick and easy Tomato and basil soup:

1 tin of carrots
2 tins of tomatoes
blend together
add a good spoonful of butter
add salt and pepper
stir in fresh basil
for a creamier texture, once served at a spoonful of natural fromage frais or yogurt

Chicken,artichoke and green olive stew

This is a ww recipe but it fit Harcombe and is lovely done in the slow cooker.-serves 2

2 chicken leg portions
1 chopped onion
1 clove of garilc
1 can of artichoke hearts
handfull of green olives ( to your own taste)
1/4 pint of chicken stock made with a stock cube.

put all the ingredients in slow cooker,casserole dish or large saucepan and cook til the chicken is done. really nice with some extra veg like cauliflower or brocoli
