Red Day ideas?

Hi

I have followed the Green plan every time I am on SW. I do get bloated & thought I would try Red & maybe EE days.

Can anyone please give me meal ideas, as I don't go to class... Or steer me to the right thread if this has already been asked...

My favourite red day meal is a Big Fry Light Up :D

I have 2 Tesco HL Sausages (2 syns), loads of bacon (lean of course!!), scrambled or poached eggs (0.5 syns for milk in scrambled if not part of HEXA), 2 slices toast (HEXB) with laughing cow triangles spread (part of HEXA) and ketchup (1 syn), so max 3.5 syns for a plate full of delicous grub :D

OMG that sounds gorgeous. I am also going to re-read the posts on here for red day ideas....

Finishing green today, so start red tomorrow - Bring it on ;)

I just spent 6 syns on two walls ones!! Will HAVE to make a trip to Tesco tomorrow!!
Yep, fry up is what i had tonight. 2 sausages (2-6 syns depending on which ones you have!), bacon, dry fry eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and onions. YUM!!!!

Or chicken breasts with new potatoes (HEB) served with loads of veggies, 1 aunt bessies yorkie pud (3 syns) and gravy (varies in syns depending on how you make it)

Have a look at peoples diaries as there are some fab ideas. xx

The sausages are the HL Cumberland ones, they're delicious!!!

Also, Tesco Value yorkshire puds are cheaper and only 2 syns each (I have 2 on my Sunday lunch :D)

Morrison's eat smart pork sausages are 1/2 syn each and delish ! we prefer them to regular sausages
Wow! That's good :D Don't get to Morrison's often but may have to make a trip and stock the freezer up. How much do they cost please? xx

Not cheap i think 1.99 for 8 but worth it in my opinion!

More red day ideas

Spag Bol with a big heap of bolognese and a HE portion of whole wheat pasta (or just have bolognese over a bed of veg)

SW curry on bed of steamed spinach

SW quiche and salad

Roast diner with lots of lean meat/poultry a healthy extra portion of new pot with skins on and lots of veg

Many thanks for all the ideas. I have now been on an Original day for about 3 days & the bloated feelings have gone - feeling really good for it too.

Will look at the food diary's too for ideas. Thanks again

Another thing to look at is the food diary section on here Hun.
I tend to have 5 Red and 2 EE days a week (depending on what Im doing work wise) and it works for me. My food diary is on here if you fancy a butchers.

i do a lot of red days.....please feel free to look at my food diary!

One of my favourite meals is Chicken Breasts, then grated cheese on top and then put mushrooms and bacon on top of it!!! *drooooool*

Then SW Chips made from a HEB potato.

Yummmmo!

I also love having SW quiche for my lunches, as these are syn free on all plans! xxx
