Red/Green V Extra Easy

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to check out of many people still use Red and Green days since the birth of EE. I've been on SW a few times and am pleased to say have lost each time using Red and Green days. I've just started again recently (Green & Red) but am really apprehensive about trying the new EE. I just wondered basically who is on it, do people actually do Red and Green and any advice anyone can offer on what is best? Thanks!! Vicks

I do mainly red with the occasional green. There are loads of members on here that do EE & have had some fantastic results so it obviously works.

Sure someone will be along soon to tell you more about EE :)

I prefer Red and Green over EE! my personal view is that i cheat on EE and dont have the recommended third of free veg and fruit!

So im better behaved, and more successful on Red and Green x

I eat too much on EE & get all confused with my HEX's. That said though I am doing my second success express week this week then I have typed out a whole week of EE to give it a proper go, loads have good losses but as I want to maintain I thought it may be easier to do it on EE

I do mainly Green days, simply because I don't eat much meat so I feel I may as well stick with Green, and I like having the option of being able to have an extra HE a/b choice if I fancy it which I can't do on EE. I usually only do EE on a Sunday for lunch.

i do EE most the time because i forget what i was doing! (i.e. was doing a red yesterday and forgot and ate noodles doh!) so EE is what it says on the tin. extra easy!

saying that, if i want a big loss i 'try' and do mostly red's with a few greens, i find my losses better that way. this week i'm on reds and greens as i want to lose 3lbs to get my 2stone!

I only do EE. This is my 6th time on SW, and my last! I fell off the wagon each time doing red and green, even when I reached target. I found them way too restrictive so was delighted that SW brought in EE. I'll never do red and green again, not even for a day or two!

I agree with Julie, Elle and Ilovelife - mostly red and a few green are what works for me! I am finding that I 'cheat' on EE also - basically doing red and green combined with both HEbs then forgetting and having my syns too. It's been pretty detrimental the last few days or so. Plus yesterday I had a whole entire green day because it's coming up to payday and all that's in my cupboard is rice and pasta n sauce and mushy peas. So that's what I ate. Then had 7 celebrations. And hadn't had my 2nd HEb so when OH came in with some chicken I had some of that too because I 'could' because of EE. I mean, what's the point if I can't get to grips with it properly?

I feel sooooo ill.

I'm not a big eater of fruit and veg, so having 1/3 for EE would be mpossible for me. I do mostly green because its much cheaper.

I rejoined SW on my first week weigh in I lost 7 lb's so it definatly seems to work. weigh in again tommorrow,

much easier than sticking to red or green I find

Thanks everyone, your comments are really helpful. I think I will stick to Red and Green, at the end of the day I know in my mind it works and I know what I'm doing. I think it's great SW continue to come up with variations to their plan but sometimes sticking to what you know keeps you on track. Thanks for all your help! xx

I've always done EE. But then thats because thats what they suggested when I joined. I've lost 20lbs so far and when I follow it properly I do have really good losses! I think I wouldnt be able to get my head round red and green days! x

I'd say my weeks average out about 5 green days and 2 red days a week. I tried EE but it didnt really work for me very well
I do red and green days.

I dont seem to lose as consistently with EE. I find it is too easy to cheat or slip up.....

I have the odd EE day, for example, if I am eating out, getting an Indian etc.

I do mostly EE with maybe one or two green days each week, but sometimes none. I find it really easy and I eat much healthier on the EE days than the green as I know I HAVE to have the 1/3 superfree. I've done green days where the only fruit or veg I've had is an apple and felt rubbish!

i had three ee days last week-first time doing it and had my worst loss so far-0.5lb (still a loss though)

so im going back to red/green though dont eat meat just fish so most days are green

also didnt like having more healthy extras

I do EE everyday. I love it. Feels like I am eating 'normally' for the first time in decades!

But each to their own. Several people at my class love red/green and don't fancy EE. Whatever works best for each individual. I love that there are several plans to chose between.

I do mostly Red with the occasional Green. EE is too complicated for me and i feel i would cheat and have too many carbs. I am not a great veg eater so Red suites me well.
