Reduce food amounts to get to target??

Can I just ask those of you who are at or near target-did you manage to do it while still having big portions,all your syns etc or did you have to reduce even free foods to get the last few pounds off?

I only have a few pounds to lose now and am loving this plan but cannot see myself reaching goal while eating the huge dinners I eat!!!:)

I reduced my syns to up to 10 a day, that's the only difference I made and it worked no problem. Still had my huuge dinners and plenty of superfree snacks and got to target :)

As long as you are still only eating until full then it shouldn't be an issue. As you get smaller your body requires fewer calories to function and your appetite should decrease in line with this. If you are, out of habit, still eating the same portion sizes as when you started then perhaps you should rethink how much free food you eat. Reducing syns has little or no effect as even the full 15 syns is only 300 calories a day or 2100 over the week, so not enough enough for one pound of weight.
