    I heard a rumour that these are free...? Does anyone know whether they are or not? (I always buy the fat free variety)

    hi , ive checked them, old el paso refried beans are free on green :) just i will have to not eat them with tortillas and cheese lol

    I'm planning to have mine for lunch, with a spicy mexican rice. Yum.

    yep the old el paso ones are free, but you may find some shop own brands are similar too.

    Is it just the fat free variety that are free or are normal ones free also?

    I buy a lot of refried beans. Absolutely love them! Brill to chuck in when you make chilli too, makes it all thick and really nice :)

    Are the normal 1s free on slimming world or is it just the reduced fat ones ?

    I've never seen reduced fat ones! I just buy either original or spicy. Depends what's available. Where've you seen the low fat ones??

    I saw on some ones post that they had low fat ones with savoury rice. Only askin as i have a tin ov spicy ones in cupboard and fancied trying them but didnt dare incase ther was tooo many syns x

    Well the SW syns online says nothing about a fat free version, just regular (for Old El Paso).

    A quick question tho as it says 100g is free, does that mean 200g is free, or only if you have the 100g if you see what I mean?

    I'm hoping totally free as I LOVE refried beans!

    Cheers saves me searching round asda :) i wud ov thought they wer free as long as its part ov a main meal x
