Restart tomorrow again.

Spoke to my GP today after another false restart. He said keep trying and not to worry about mental health issues and on meds etc and to do 1 thing at a time. Either stop smoking or lose weight. So I've chosen to lose weight. Might not stay on this until goal. But would like to lose 2 stone. :)
 
Day 1 so far so good. Tomorrow I'm dreading for myself. Never have managed to get past day 2 myself.

I'm not far ahead of you I started last wednesday.....so far so good, to be honest I am struggling to have all 4 meals which surprised me because with CD 3 never seemed enough lol

One day at a time you will get there! this is my trillionth restart but first time using S&S, the first few days are the hardest & hopefully when you see how well you've done by your first weigh in you will be more determined to succeed.

Good luck!! I always come here when I'm having a wobbly moment & by the time I've finished reading a thread or 3 a few hours have passed & so has the wobble :)

I also started s&s this week but have done cd in the past. Those first few days are the hardest- stay strong, keep glugging the water and look on here for inspiration. I often look at people's pics when I need a boost.

Happy to be a buddy, I've been on 3 weeks and had a major wobble Friday but back all over it now! Once the first few days are over it is much easier!
 
You can all do it

Keep hydrated especially in this heat

Space out your food, seperate out your veg, protein, packs etc. And hold off till afternoon if possible

Those first three days the hardest then its easy

Thankyou all. I'm starving already lol. Gonna have a porridge pack now. First pack of the day. Wanted to hold out for longer but cooking my littlens food is doing my head in lol. Hurry up Erin and eat it!!! No leftovers!!! Lol.

sherrie - you can do this hun. Just follow the advice you have been given - keep drinking water - space out your packs and DISTRACT DISTRACT DISTRACT! Do some housework, or paint your nails, or look online at some smaller clothes you will buy yourself. I've only been doing sns for a couple of weeks, but am no stranger to vlcds. I've even been knitting - just do anything that will take your mind off food. I think cooking for other people actually helps in a roundabout way. The first few days are tough - there's no denying it. And cooking a meal that you can't even eat when you are starving sucks. But once your in ketosis you genuinely won't feel the physical hunger half as bad. And I think that cooking for my family has actually desensitised me to food. I am not salivating and staring down their plates like I was a week or so ago! I remember when I was on lighterlife a few years ago and there were people in my class that only cooked for themselves. Even months into the diet - cooking smells etc would drive them crazy - where as my friend and I who both cooked for others weren't phased by it at all! The only thing that ever really bothered me were the M & S adverts - otherwise known as 'food porn'!!!! Especially at xmas lol!
Good luck hun, stay strong, stay positive. Stand on those scales at the end of the week and feel fabulous!

Had my porridge and water yummy. Got Erin's breakfast and binned the leftovers. I'm being very strict as slim n save told me and try not to have allowance until in Ketosis!! Yikes. Easier said than done maybe!!! A big mistake I made last night was to fill my boots. Hey ho!! My choice though.

Well here I go day 1 again ( oops) how's my diet buddies getting on? Phew didn't sleep well. Erin is deado under her quilt and sweating buckets so I gently removed quilt off her. It's so humid. This is a little too hot for me. Hope theires some fresh air today. Omg. Anyhow blipped majorly yesterday in the end. Give this diet 1 last shot then if I cave in once more i will join a slimming club. Hope not though. Hate those cattle market slimming clubs. So I'm choosing the dust diet. Anyone for dust? Lol
