The calculation is indeed calories/70 and Sat fats/4 (or fats/2 if you don't have the sat fat value). I'd definitely consider having a look to see if you can find any of the points books second hand, you could get the Shop guide (for the main list of points) and the Eat Out guide for take aways and restaurants really cheaply.
