Hi to everyone my name is Richard (Dicky) this is my first ever post so forgive me if what i am about to ask is available somewhere on the site. I am approaching 15 stone and at a height of 5.8" i need to do something before i become seriously overweight. Can someone just get me started on the green and red diet please? Is there a book i could buy or a site which actually tells you what is green and what is red food?
also, like most i like a drink, can this be worked into the diet ? (all ive had this week is diet tonic etc) i would appreciate any advice, thanks to all and also good luck. Dicky

Thanks for your reply. I am not with any club, someone i know uses this method and swears by it, so far i have kept to a strict diet and still no alcohol, but i may not be eating enough. Here is todays intake in total any advice is welcome.
Breakfast, bowl of shreddies with semi skim
Lunch, sliced chicken tikka from sainsburys (on the move)
Dinner, small tin of Salmon with salad, a few new potatoes, beetroot with low fat mayo (heaped teaspoonful)
Drinks, tea no sugar, and tonight diet coke, I'm trying to imagine theres a brandy in there somewhere !! point is is this a green type day? if so what can i have tomorrow? Dicky.

Hi hun, I suggest you move over to he slimming world forum as the rules you are following seem to fall in line with theirs.

Lighterlife is a food replacement diet, so we eat no convential foods at all.

Here is the link to SW Slimming World - MiniMins.com - Weight Loss Support Forum- hope it helps, as I am not sure on this forum we can offer the support you need by way of answering what you should be doing tomorrow. Sorry! Good luckxx

    Hi Dicky

also take a look at the Slimming World website to learn a bit more about red and green days and how it works. You can definately eat more than you have been on the Slimming World plan, and you can also make room for alcohol!! :D
