rickie's 28kg Challenge

Hi people!

i have been viewing this site as a non member for 2 weeks now, so i thought it was time to sign up and introduce myself.

I am male . 24yrs old....from Brighton.

I am a Semi-pro footballer that seems to have gone wayward in the close season.. infact i have gained 25kg in 2 months...

So as of the 11/07/10 i set myself the target of losing 28kg to get to my target of 79kgs my optimum weight by doing slimming world. I have tried it before and did very well. but i want more.

in my first week i have lost 2.2kg's (4.9lbs) which is great. If you guys and gals have any hamndy tips to help things along they would be most welcome.

i will keep my progress updated on here. look forward to sharing my expriences with you.

hey welcome hun.

well done on your progress so far your doing great.

ive been doing slimming world for 9 weeks now and loving it.

ive lost 2st 9lbs so far and feel so much better ive got a long rd a head of me yet but i will get there.

this website is great for ideas and support.

my tip is eat loads of speed foods like strawberries,melon....they speed up your weight loss!!!

Its going well...so just want to kick on now, hopefuly with the amount of sport i actually do i should see a good improvement , quick... but im under no illusions it will be a long rd as you say.

men always lose weight alot quicker then women so i think you will be fine hun.

what plan do you do on slimming world?

EE?
RED?
GREEN?

i do red and green days as these suit me best i always feel meself up on free food and speed foods and drink 2 litres of water a day i try and do as much excerise as i can i have a punch bag in my garage and a cross trainer i try and do at leat 15 mins every other day(hard at mo)
once i have dropped more weight and find it easier i will increase it.

you will love this website i know i do!!!

Well that seems to be the case majority of the time..

I do 5 green days as this suites me for work, and 2 red at the weekend and as you say drink 2 ltrs of water a day.

I train 6 x's a week now my pre season has started, its just the close that does me in as i gain weight at a stupid rate, i have always struggled..

Punch bag...now there is an idea.

I have already found this website so helpful, recipes and tips....and alot of support keeps you going!

Hi guys... Just an update as im a very happy man this morning! I have managed to get within .6 of my target weight, and have re-ajusted my goals to 77 KG.. (was 81) I have really pushed hard this summer, and I have now lost 4 stone on the nose!...This site has been a real insperation! keep it up guys!
