roosnanny wombles back :-)

Morning lainey, those blow heaters cost an arm and a leg if you run them for any length of time :(

Evening Lainey, hope you get your boiler back soon! When it goes i'm always thankful for immersions- phew!
Xx

well still no sign of a boiler
woman said she would phone today with an appointment,
however she never phoned back.
and i pop that heater on just to take the edge off then switch
it off again,as i can't see them paying my bill, time
to get my fluffy blanket out.
still had a nice dinner, and a jelly with cream yum.
:D

had a beef stew today, warms the cockles of yer heart.
big up heavel soon, having a new floor put in,
4ft fish tank to be dismantled and fish stored, tree frogs, leopard gecko, bearded dragon, all need to be moved, then there;s all
the other toot,on the up note, boiler to be fixed on Tuesday.
anyone have a good heads up on getting rid of black mould,as the double glazing here has never been good, and with no heating
the condensation has been awful, now my window frames(wood)
are growing at an alarming rate. !
oh and i've lost a pound :D

White vinegar I believe for the mould. Sounds like you're having a right time of it and I hope you get it fixed soon as having to wait all this time is out of order!

white vinegar.....shopping list unless i have any in my
mary poppins cupboard.
the woman my OH spoke to today was adamant she had phoned
us back yesterday, however she said they have a run of broken boilers at the moment, still musn't grumble because
the battery plug in thingies for my laptop gets really warm,
and i tuck it underneath my fluffy blanket lol,and the children
haven't minded too much either poor darlings,so busy time
ahead,just don't fancy cold water,and i don't think i would like room temp either.....i'm grumbling......
going to make a coffee with cream.
:D

Oh bless you Lainey! It's no way to live! Hope you get heat soon! :) xx

Well done on the lb Lainey - and I agree, vinegar is brill for mould.

I also use spray bleach and leave it to sit for an hour or so.

oh what a shame i need to put my lappie back on charge:D
not funny really, cold bathroom this morning for the shower
brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
still shouldn't moan lol as i can just about remember when we were kids
the net curtains would stick to the windows when it was icy.
had bacon omelette for dinner with a sozzie, then s/f jelly
could of done without the cold pud, silly old Hector ;)
evening all.

Oh thanks for the tip on white vinegar I have wooden frames with a mould problem too and hate to use bleach because of my animal - numerous bottles of white vinegar now added to Mr T's xx
