Sauces

Hi, my wife is doing really well at SW so far but we are hitting a bit of a wall with sauces. We eat lots of pasta and meat but end up having the same kind of tomato based sauces with a few changes. Have been looking around tonight and found sin free BBQ and curry sauce but was just wandering if anyone has any non tomato based sauces that would go well with pasta or meat. All ideas gratefully appreciated

You could make a cheese sauce to have with pasta! I use a tin of ASDA's "smart price" macaroni cheese, (only 3 syns per tin) liquidize it, add your Hea portion of strong cheese, 1/2 tsp of english mustard, makes a lovely sauce, I have it with macaroni bake & cheap!
