SB or Low GI diet??

I am a newb to both of these types of dieting/way of life. Which do you think would be better for the newbie? I have been reading on both of these types of plans until my eyes bled. I can't make up my mind which is the better choice.

I work full time so I need something that does not require a lot of thought or cooking into my meals. Stuff I can slap together in the morning and run out the door. Dinner...I can cook. I need breakfast and lunches to go to work. I cant cook them. I have a microwave and toaster oven there though.
