Aww That is a lovely thing to do and so rewarding too. I really struggled with my 2nd baby to breastfeed, the midwives were ok but I really wanted someone just to tell me that it was ok - it's sometimes the small things that make such a difference. Good luck xx

Good for you. Breastfeeding is great and it needs people like you to help all those mums who struggle with it (which is nearly all of them). I used to work in a maternity unit as a care assistant and it's the helping with breast feeding that I really miss.

well done, both of my boys had a tongue tie and neither would breastfeed but i had no support from my midwives. i was the one to notice the tongue ties when they wouldn't feed. I had days of heartache - i remember once even asking the lady who brought the tea around to help.
