It won't be on the 'allowed' list because it contains citric acid which can throw some people out of ketosis. Coke zero doesn't contain any.

I had Diet Coke in the first couple of days just to use up the cans I had but then switched to Coke zero

Not a silly question at all! Try and avoid anything with citric acid or lactic acid in it.
Unfortunately most diet and zero cal drinks have citric acid in them, so they aren't allowed, but Coke Zero and Dr Pepper Zero contain phosphoric acid instead which is fine :)
