Sit up ball

    Does anyone no where i can buy the big sit up balls they have in the gyms?

    Argos do them for about £6-7, and so do TK Maxx (they have a huge range at the moment actually). If you're looking online, look for "Swiss ball" or sometimes "exercise ball". Unless it specifically says the pump is included you are probably just buying the ball itself, so if you don't already have a pump that's something to look out for.

    I just had a look on ebay and they have them for £3 or £8 with a pump so i think i will go with that. Need something to help me now.

    gym balls are the best sooo many exercises you can do on them! x

    you can do a whole body work out on it you know!!! thers tonz ov exercises to do onit! x

    Yep, it does work the core mostly, but you can use it to do upper body dumbell weight training too, just lie out on it and flex your pelvis and hips and hey presto, you are working your core, legs and upper body...just google the various exercises...I love my gym/swiss ball...also the bosu at the gym is great too!

    Our gym had classes that were like an introduction to using the fit ball, they were pretty cool and I liked the classes (we'd all crack up at each other too, it was a hoot!), but they discontinued them...:confused:
