Skin on Fish

I've just realised I have been eating the skin on cooked salmon. I always, always remove the skin from chicken but never thought about fish. Probably a stupid question but can you eat all the fish including skin or do I have to take it off for it to be free. I never use oil.

Thanks

I would think that if SW wanted us to take the skin off fish they would say so, and as far as I know they don't. The skin on chicken is where most of the fat is; I don't think that is the case with fish.

My old consultant said you have to remove it, but my new one says you don't! I eat the skin personally, because none of the books/recipes say to remove it (like they all do for chicken), and also because fish is a speed food so any oil that's in the skin won't be as bad as oil in chicken. Plus the oils in fish are very healthy.

Great thank you. I love the skin of fish, nearly the best part.
