Slimming World diary here's to good health

Thanks slimming girl :) I just find it odd, I look at other people's food pictures and think oh yum I will try that whether it's meat or non meat.

I source locally so I know the story behind the plate and trust that other items I eat work with what I said previously :)

Each to their own.

Moderation; my goal is to eat more veggies with my meals to a) make the meat go a bit further and B) reduce waste c) more earth friendly d) super free lol

Decided to add cous cous to my lunch made with chicken oxo and oxo Italian seasoning - loved it!! Grilled chicken and steamed veg ?
 
Just had a chocolate craving, and what I like about this plan is I do not have to deprive or reprimand myself.

I don't eat too much so I grabbed a curly wurly from the fridge and my kitchen scissors and cut it in half for three syns whoop.

It really hit the spot, I token is all I need for if I ignore the call of a chocolate craving that's when everything goes haywire.

I remember once a few years ago now I needed a chocolate fix so bad and couldn't find any until I spotted a Lindt bunny on top of the microwave. I rang over and ripped it's head off, slamming the body back onto the microwave I demolished the head. Like a wild banchee woman lol and I had to replace that bunny!! It's shocking how cravings can drive a person to behaviours they wouldn't normally display! I blame hormones yet like I said slimming world is making me less of a wild woman lol

Hubby has decided to do the plan too, it's difficult explaining it but I think he will get in ok with it. Everything has been a bit of a nightmare today, but we are getting through the day - the menu we are both having today :)

Slow cooked carbonara was superb, whole recipe 1 syn four portions out of it :)
 
So after the disaster that was a day in week four by going straight back on plan the very next day, I can confirm damage control worked. I got a sts and I am happy to take it.

Today we had a taster day and I tried vegetarian chilli and it was lush. It was made by using quorn but I never would have know the difference.

I have decided to make chilli tomorrow now :)

That's what I thought, on that day I ate a Chinese I noted I was carb loading mainly And two daim bars - to be fair it could have been a lot worse then a bowl of Chinese and choccy.

I then started to up my intake of free carbs and it seems to be working thankfully.

It's tough sometimes when mega cravings happen but I'm thinking I'm winning the war lol

Loved my tea tonight balti pork and veggy rice x

On Mondays Hun :) I love it!! Always trying to match taste with better options to eat.

Have to be really prepared this week as a major stressor has ignited yesterday, and I'm a eat your emotions type.

For once I think I have this worked out though I just find stress really hard, especially when you really just want to throttle the said person doing the wrong doing - alas I am a peace advocate so therefore violence is not an option lol

So it looks like I will wear my brave heart suit in a law battle instead - how annoying that they couldn't just do what was right and refund the money for poor service!!

Well let the battle commence I trust it will work out for my highest good <3

When I was bigger it was my fave lunch! Prob was I had it with tuna mayo and ate crap for the rest of the day!! I'd murder one right now :-(
 
I have stuck to plan today which I'm really pleased about - your doing the forever detox that looks so hard - your sailing through it though ?

I used to do juice plus lost 2.5 stone but it went back on once I finished it.

So I decided to do SW and pace myself eating things that are healthy and tasty, it's fun in the kitchen that's for sure just had two clementines as snack x x
