Marybobs I cook everything in a slow cooker. Roasts, currys, hotpots, pulled pork, chinese keep liquids to a minimum as it often doubles, I thicken sauces using knorr, tomato paste or mushy peas if it gets too runny. Just experiment and you will soon master it. Enjoy. X
Thanks @bubble77 the sweet and sour chicken turned out very runny today. Will defo try the full chicken in it this week. Do I just sit it on four balls of foil and season. Do I need frylight or anything?
I just put the chicken breast side down on top of onions. I also do the one pot roast with potatoes parsnips and carrots too. No need to add any oils maybe a bit of lemon juice or syn a small glass of wine between the family if you want a bit of extra flavour. X
