Small Victories

Aw puppy, bless her lol. Good idea! Is your friend ok?

U started at the same weight i am now. How have u found it

I wont lie its not been easy, but ive been a higher weight then on this current weight loss journey. its been a test at times but its sooo worth the effort :)

ah yeah only something minor thank god. funny though cos we both student nurses and now shes on the other side of the fence:eek: thankfully theres no one from the class looking after her, how embarrassing would that be;)

but yeah its a great idea and one i think i'll make use of again tonight:)

Far-whatever it takes right? Well done :)

Breadbin-how funny! Well I'm glad she's ok though. You should post a photo of your puppy on here on in the pets corner (nosy, I know).

F.A.R, I know how hard those MacDonald cravings can be....it took ages before I realised that I never even feel full after I've had one!! Since I've started Go Lower, my cravings have become further and further apart and food I thought I would miss (like MacD's) I don't even give a thought to any more. All I can say is it does get easier, especially when the scales show smaller numbers.

Remember we're worth it.

Good luck
xx

I just said no to Haagen Daaz :D As if!

ha ha just did:) thanks for the suggestion!! hoping it might spur me onto even more walking. think i take her for granted a bit so i'm gonna spoil her with exercise:)

Spoil your dog with exercise, what a good idea. It can only mean more lbs off of you. Keep walking!
xx

yeah well they absolutely love walking so its a win win situation:) didn't go walking today unfortunately what with st paddys day an all but tomorrow and friday have been marked in the diary;)

I'm the world's greatest chocoholic and I've had a pack of Cadbury Caramel bunnies in my desk drawer in work for 2 days now and haven't touched them. Every time they cross my mind, I go and fill my water bottle or have a little bit of fruit instead. I should really give them to someone else to rid myself of temptation but I think I get a perverse kick out of torturing myself with them :D

I went for a long walk yesterday afternoon. Around the country lanes by my home. Past farm yards and old country houses, through little villages, along river banks. It really was lovely. A gorgeous way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

The time absolutely flew, we were gone an hour and a half. It was so so enjoyable.

Shelz, I'm really pleased you enjoyed your walk yesterday afternoon. The weather was good as well. It sounds lovely where you were....not much countryside round by me....I like going for walks in the evening with a friend...time flies as well and we have a good old natter and gossip without the kids!!

breadbin, pleased you're still walking, it's so good for us. I wouldn't worry about the diet being out the window at the weekend, as long as you are back on it now.

Good luck and keep loosing
xx

ha ha yeah its great to get back to it, had 2 salads today, one for lunch and one for dinner so pretty pleased with myself:)

i agree walking is amazing for ourselves. the motion helps clear the bowels you know? really is super and then the spiritual benefits are the feeling good etc. i can never understand how good i feel when i am out walking but then why do i find it so hard to get out?

Its always the same breadbin....we never want to go out or do whatever it is we are supposed to, but then when we get to wherever it is we are supposed to be, whether its walking, working, socialising, dieting, whatever, we always tend to have a good time and enjoy ourselves and look forward to next time. Then next time comes and we're like, I really can't be bothered etc....it's called being lazy and human! Don't give up on your walks - you know you enjoy them! And am pleased you are back on the diet...you'll probably feel even better for it now!

Good luck and keep motivated
xx
