Morning All,

I've collected my food supplies, and will be having my first shake tomorrow morning - and I can't wait :D

Is it odd that I'm extrememly excited about this diet?

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all, and finally fighting the fat! Does anyone have any tips for me?

Lol no its not odd for you to be excited, its brilliant as it puts you in a really motivated mind.

This is a fantastic diet. You just need to stick to it to see the results.

Your first weigh in will spur you on to the next. So all the weigh ins keep you going.

its good for you to be excited - just keep drinking the water is the only tip i have and keep yourself busy - read some of the posts on here to keep yourself motivated good luck x

Welcome, its a new way of doing things - and its normal to be excited.

stay on this forum, all the support you could need, a font of knowledge and keeps you out of the fridge/cupboards etc.

hey beckie,,welcome... i was the same i was really excited about starting,, and trust me its a good thing because it will help you get through week one. as everybody else has said just keep drinking water, i drink about 3.5 litres a day. keep yourself busy. plan to reward yourself at your little goals, with something other than food lol.
maybe buy some ketostix to see if your in ketosis, i bought 50 for about 8euro in boots.
you can put coffee in your shakes and have them hot or cold. you can also have sweetners the talet kind not the powder type.
also be careful on your first few days because you may be lightheaded and dizzy. just drink more water! and get excited for your weigh in..

first off congrats .. and you have the total right attitude to this diet .. I started off really positive and excited .. and am still excited 10 weeks on and nearly 4 stone lighter :) I think people who start this diet dreading it and seeing it as something bad fail more quickly .. stay positive !!
As everyone else says .. drink lots of water ( its hard and I struggle but it is necessary ) drink normal coffee and tea if you normally do ( obvioulsy balck with only tablet sweeteners )
I would say dont be put off if you hate the shakes to start with .. on my 1st day I found them aweful .. very oaty and salty ( everyone tastes them different tho ) but by about day 3 I was getting used to them and now I love the strawberry and choc !!!
You will find what works for you ... I have found I have to use a specific amount of water for different flavour shakes .. so mess about with the amount of water etc ..
Try the soup .. I cant stomach it .. although a lot of people say to make it with 500 mls of water .. so may try again .. and if you dont like something 1st time .. you may like it later on in the diet so keep trying ...
and look forwadr to you r first weigh in .. thats what really helps you through .. take it a week at a time and be prepared for the 1st week to be tough .. but it gets sooo much easier and my 10 weeks have flown by :)

They seem to have it covered! Welcome to LT is it your first time? If so then be prepared for tough days but your weigh in days will spur you on. If it was easy everyone would be doing it but it will become second nature soon enough. Take it one day at a time then after 1st weigh in, week by week.
If you keep focusing on how much weight you need to lose it can seem too far away. Tell yourself just one more week and i can bet every time you get weighed, as long as you stick to it, you will be ready for the next week. Good luck, let us know how you are doing tomorrow!!

Thanks for the friendly welcome... Still feeling excited, and a tad bit nervous too.

First time on Lipotrim, so I got a mixed bag of shakes and soup - which does everyone prefer? I'm thinking of having strawberry shake for breakfast, good/bad idea?

To be honest Becky.. I loved all of the lipotrim products except for the flapjacks!!

Its each to your own though.. and i definatly recommend trying everything for yourself first hand!

And any you dont like I think most chemists are pretty cool about swapping packs!

hey personally i like the vanilla the best with a sweetner and blended with ice and some coffee. dont like the strawberry find it too salty. i have the choc the same as the vanilla ,,mm,,,and have the soup for dins. best of luck x

I liked all the shakes at first but the strawberry and vanilla ones are too sweet for me so i just have choc now. As for the soups and flapjacks give them a go, i personally would rather starve!! lol

Hi and welcome its good that your so excited when you get week 1 out of the way it will be so much better. i am on restart this week and havent found it a problem you will feel the cold more i find it hard to warm up and plenty of loo trips grrr. If you feel that its getting tough just logg on here and you will find that most people will have answers to your problems as we have all been there. When you go into ketosis the hunger will go away. if you want to use the hours up play on the arcade games it can help when you dont feel energetic and want to relax with out getting the munchies.
